Enlightenment is the core of the whole ceremony. At this time, the children stood in front of the master in turn. The kind grandfather of the master used cinnabar to point a red mole in the middle of the child's forehead, called "Cinnabar Qizhi", and hung a statue of Confucius on the child, indicating that the child had worshipped Confucius as a teacher; Secondly, "master teaches", the master teaches the children to hold the pen correctly, and then writes down the first few strokes on a piece of red paper, which reads "academic progress" (see Figure 2). After the master signs and seals, he sends the pen and paper back to the students, which is also called "master writing". At the end of the ceremony, all the students took photos with the masters.
