The Assassination of Kennedy (also translated as "American Mental Patient") is a TV series in 2006, directed by david fincher and adapted from John F. Kennedy's novel "From the Heart to the Murder". This TV series has been broadcast all over the world since April 2, 20071. The play mainly describes the assassination of John F. Kennedy and some stories after the assassination. Matthew McConaughey plays President Kennedy in this film and tells the story in his tone. The film won the 59th Golden Globe Award for Best Drama, Best Actor (Matthew Patrick) and Best Supporting Actress (Sally Theron as Marilyn Monroe). The production cost of this drama reached 200 million dollars, making it the most expensive TV program at that time.
