Different fingerprints fall off in different guns and different positions, and this fluctuation is quite large, maybe a few percent. Even if the same seal is scraped at the same position of the same gun every time, the floating is relatively small, basically behind the decimal point, but some visual effects will be more obvious. What impressed me most was 18 Boston's signature in a rugged place. Some will be broken, some will be just right, and some will not be scraped clean. To be perfect, they always have to be scraped around.
