Nehemiah chapter 9

(A) Thinking

They got strong cities, fertile land, houses full of all kinds of beautiful things, dug wells, vineyards, olive orchards and many fruit trees. However, they betrayed you, abandoned your law, and killed the prophets who advised them to return to you, which greatly angered you.

So you gave them to the enemy and tortured them. When they cried out to you in their trouble, you heard from heaven, and according to your great love, you gave them deliverers and delivered them from the hands of their enemies. After they had peace, they did evil before you, so you handed them over to your enemies and put them in power. However, they turned to you and cried out to you, but you still listened from heaven and saved them many times according to your mercy. And warn them to obey your laws. But they acted arrogantly, did not obey your commandments, violated your ordinances, twisted their shoulders and stiffened their necks, and refused to listen. But you tolerated them for many years and warned them with your spirit through the prophet, but they still refused to listen, so you delivered them into the hands of the nations. However, you were merciful and did not completely destroy them or abandon them; Because you are a kind and compassionate God.

7. What do they call God? What about all the suffering that Israel has suffered? But who are we? 32/34

(1) "Our God, you are the biggest, most capable and most terrible, and you are the God who keeps his promise and loves.

(2) From the days of the king of Assyria to this day, our kings, princes, priests, prophets, fathers and all your people have suffered. Now, please don't think it's small. Everything that happened to us, you are just. Because what you do is honest.

What we do is evil. Our kings, princes, priests and ancestors have not kept your law, obeyed your commandments or warned them.
