I'm not a spoiler, but maybe you won't like my film reviews, even myself, and I don't like them very much. I didn't want to post them at first.

This is the impression that Han Han has always given people. He is like us holding a sword, so many young people like Han Han because he tries hard to help us find the answer between the ideal and the secular.
This time, Han Han also tried to show this feeling on film. Most people watching this movie may not like Tiny Times. Some people say that a movie is needed to tell the world that young people still need sound. Glass houses and French simple meals are not the stories of ordinary people. We need three down-and-out young people to take us on the road together.
Then all these feelings, I believe that Han Han's original intention is to perfectly interpret them with a movie.

If it is a narrative poem or prose, it may be a masterpiece, but as a film, it is very, very unqualified.
Disappointed, terrible, boring, preaching.
I wrote this just to say that I understand Han Han's idea, and his feelings are fine. They can be embodied in film and film performance, which is full of didactic flavor and dull narrative rhythm, so it failed.
I don't deny that I like Han Han, too. I even have a book signed by him in those years, which is written for Zhu Xuan. Most of my friends and I have placed hopes on this film. We have been waiting for the premiere for a long time, but I have to say with disappointment that this film is not good-looking. No, it is terrible. As a lover of Han Han, I will try my best to analyze this bad place.
I don't think that if you like Han Han, you should like all his works.
I don't think Han Han is a person who appreciates this kind of behavior.
1. It's
time seems almost infinitely long in this movie. There is no violent conflict or strong motivation. He is just a group of people who are on the road. They drive and talk.
They met some people, and then they talked with them.
But this kind of conversation is by no means Woody Allen-style. It has no confrontation and no opinions. It just keeps drawing conclusions. It tells you that you can't have a world view if you haven't seen it. It tells you that children are right and wrong, and adults only look at pros and cons. It also says that liking is licentious, but love is restraint.
These words are very good sentences in themselves, but in movies, you can't simply let the people in the play read them out as if they were teaching.
These themes are not reflected by an event, or even discussed. It's just that the people in the play are sitting in the car and standing in the street, and they suddenly and directly pop up these sentences. It's like you bought a famous book of the Three Kingdoms, and there is no fight or shooting at the halberd, only the life sentences they said. Chapter 1, Liu Bei: Don't be good and small.
This kind of preaching is not suitable for an audience like us who already have the ability to distinguish.
In the process of watching movies, we even had the idea of waiting for sentences. A large number of beautiful sentences implanted by marketing in the early stage were read out in this way. Jia Zhangke talked with William Feng, and Wang Luodan talked with Chen Bailin. There was no shoving or props. They just stood face to face, one sentence for each other.

2. Dull narrative skills
The biggest difference between literature and screenwriter lies in the story itself, not the charm of language.
When William Feng meets Yuan Quan, maybe in the book, we will write (I will avoid spoilers) where William Feng went, what kind of light he saw Yolanda, what happened at that moment, what happened to Yolanda later, what happened to William Feng when they came to the billiard table, and then Yolanda said.
But in focus plane, it was very simple. William Feng walked in. Two people interacted with each other and came to the billiard table. Yolanda began to say, really speaking, there was no other impurity. While playing billiards, he confessed William Feng's life experience. His love was in Yolanda's chanting, and his hope was completed to the end. I think this period is the best time to pull William Feng back from the brave and vast brother to the ordinary youth.
But only Yolanda's Nianbai.
this kind of chanting is like someone opening a book and telling us what happened and then what happened.
The surging emotions, the disillusionment of love and heroic dreams, are not reflected in the picture.
A movie is something that can't let you directly express the inner feelings of the characters. It needs action and conflict.
Although I understand William Feng's thoughts, I know that it is not enough to understand movies. If I want to understand this truth, I should just read books.
I watch movies in the hope that I want to see the pictures inside.
The same thing happened in Wallace Chung's story. Just like this, Wallace Chung put his helmet on the car and finished the story of himself and his wife. After that, it was over. In this way, the director didn't even bother to flash back with one.
The essence of this film is not a group of people telling stories, but a group of people telling stories.
3. Role setting
Chen Bailin's role, Rivers, is really dull. It is an almost lethargic role. In fact, there is no silent role, but the rivers in Chen Bailin have not really played. He lacks the aura and childishness of the era of Blue Gate, leaving only awkwardness.
I know that Jianghe is a shy and gentle person, but most of the time, the film is only expressed by his silence, and his facial expression has hardly changed. When the director wants this shot, it seems that he doesn't have much demand for the actors.
He is like a friend you can't talk to, and you have to embark on a long journey with him.
You are embarrassed and don't know what to say, but the movie is going on.
I think Kong Lianshun is quite interesting in the whole story. He is just a walk-on and the only mute in this movie.
4, rambling
There are four stories in the movie, Chen Qiaoen, Wang Luodan, Yolanda and Wallace Chung. They are actor, liar (or prostitute), billiard room owner (pen pal for many years) and passionate donkey friend.
In the early days, Chen Qiaoen probably wanted to show the helplessness of the little people in their struggle. Her dislocated designs also clearly explained the director's thinking, but the whole story was a conversation from one end of the set to the other, which was handled too quietly. Even if some people were thoughtful, it could not save the whole story from being tasteless.
Wang Luodan is the only interactive story. There is an interaction between Chen Bailin and Wang Luodan in the room. This interaction is also the whole film. It is the only place that makes us feel that it is still beautiful. William Feng's legs are numb and he chased the gas station. At least this story is worth watching.
Yolanda is a conversation in the billiards room, which is tasteless.
Wallace Chung led out the satellite. His dream was a satellite. It was originally a passionate speech. Even though his Cantonese pronunciation had a unique flavor, it was still unsatisfactory. However, the final flip made this story at least worth remembering.
I believe that none of the four actors can act, but this is the story itself.
this should be the director's problem.
Not to mention, Hu Sheng, who was in the early stage, was finally lost in this way, which is simply an outrageous awkwardness.
After Wang Luodan's story ended, for a long time, there was no excitement, ups and downs, and waves. We followed the director's lens, and it seemed that we had been on a straight road without sharp turns or stuck bends.
What is rambling
It means that one day, when we went to Tibet, we saw the vast sky and the endless sea, which was really beautiful.
let's watch it for a whole month, and we will feel pain.

5. Funny point
Many people say it's funny, so it's an interesting and wonderful comedy.
I don't think Han's father-in-law wants to make a comedy. As I said at the beginning, he must have his feelings. He wants to show these feelings, which is his skeleton. The joke is just a light embellishment. This should never be a comedy.
It is very understandable that, just like some of Han Han's novels, between those sentences, we always smile and reminisce about the fun of this word.
But as we all know, we are not watching the Joker King or a comedy story.
some people say that it's an absurd road film?
absurdity is not a joke.
I don't want to say these jokes, such as "the night is the day". I don't know if my life is hard, but I don't want to say whether these jokes are clever or not, but what I understand is that these jokes originally served the theme of the story.
but now it is taken as the theme.
I saw a number joke in Weibo, saying it was a good film.
If Han Han's movies are like this, I'm speechless. I don't think people who used to read his novels under their desks just laughed.
6, exquisite highlights
Han Han's exquisite parts, if we don't consider the broken skeleton, some details are very irritating, and we will like them very much.
I think the song "The Country of Daughters" is perfect.
In the early Chen Qiaoen story, the gunfire and the female students in the execution ground are meaningful, and this significance is great.
It even includes Wang Luodan's ringtone, and when Chen Bailin translated it, the lines echoed with the characters, which contained poetic romance. I don't mind seeing these lame things in the eyes of professionals in the movie, because I really like them, but these things can't control the whole movie, and spirituality is fragile and fleeting.
boiling frogs in warm water is not good. This level is too simple, too straightforward and not clever enough.

7. At the end, speak your mind.
Before the film was released, everyone was applauding it, saying that it was disrespectful. I believe many people really liked it. They combed Han Han's journey, and even Pu Shu, I love Pu Shu. To be honest, I have high expectations. I really hope that this film will beat Tiny Times because I like his ideas, but I will feel embarrassed when something like this comes out.
I'm probably sad that the film Han Han was badly made, but I had hoped it would be a wonderful work.
Many people look for various highlights in this movie just because they like Han Han. The jokes are funny, the shots are good and the stars are beautiful, so the movie is good.
I don't deny that some people really think so.
