Chongqing University of Arts and Science, located in Chongqing, is a full-time undergraduate college sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents. Its predecessors, Chongqing Normal University and Yuzhou Institute of Education, were founded in 1976 and 1972 respectively.
