According to Article 34 of China's new Insurance Law, a contract with death as the condition for paying insurance benefits is invalid without the consent and approval of the insured.
On February 28th, 2009, the seventh session of the 11th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) voted to pass the newly revised Insurance Law. The newly revised insurance law emphasizes the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of the insured and the insured, and will be officially implemented on June 5438+ 10/day, 2009. The three core changes of the new Insurance Law are the protection of the insured, the strengthening of supervision and risk prevention, the broadening of insurance services and the higher requirements for the legal and compliant operation of the insurance industry.
