Banshee is a fairy who can predict death in Celtic legend. Banshee is the body of a mobile suit as high as a unicorn. The pilots of this plane are Marida Cruz Kurus and Riddhe Marcenas (Destiny Mode).

As the unicorn Gundam 2, this machine was originally tested by Augusta Lab, a laboratory stationed on the earth. After the first machine was acquired by Barnard Lincks, the Anaheim Electronic Industry Consortium accelerated the experiment and assembly of Unicorn Gundam II.

The head of this machine is not a single horn, but a plurality of long horns are arranged in a row along the center line of the head to create the image of a horse mane or comb. A long horn shines with gold, which lights up a touch of bright color for the black body.
