Students from ordinary primary and secondary schools and secondary vocational schools with Guangzhou student status, both public and private, can apply for the card.
(2). Student card validity period
The student card is valid for the first and second grade of primary school during the current period of education. July of the year when the student in sixth grade normally graduates from junior middle school and high school (including ordinary high schools and secondary vocational schools). ※ Student Card After the validity period has expired, you will no longer enjoy discounts related to bus and subway ticketing, but you will still have the ordinary functions of Yangchengtong and can make ordinary recharges and purchases. If the applicant still meets the conditions for applying for a student card, you need to apply for a new card. 2. Individual student card application process (opened in late May 2009) Step 1: Preparation of student application materials
1. Students learn their student registration number from the school;
2. Prepare an ordinary digital ID photo without a hat. Electronic photos in jpg format, file size less than 100k, 48mm × 33mm (height × width), 244 pixels (height) × 168 pixels (width), or higher pixel photos of the same proportion, the minimum resolution is 300DPI, blue is recommended background. If the school has digital ID photos of students on file, students can learn about and obtain them from the school, or they can prepare them by themselves.
3. The student card application fee (deposit) is 30 yuan per card, and the payment can be made by credit card on site, in cash on site, or in bank cash. If you choose bank cash payment, the applicant should pay 30 yuan at the city's Postal Savings Bank, and keep and copy the payment receipt issued by the bank; if you choose on-site cash payment or card payment, you can pay cash or swipe the bank card when submitting and confirming the information at the application site. The bank remitter’s name is the student’s name. Please check whether the bank has printed a 14-digit payment serial number on the receipt. If not, you need to ask the post office to inform you, otherwise it will not be possible. Complete the following "fill in online information" steps.
4. Fill in the information online and upload photos.
After reading this guide, please click "Personal Application for Student Card" and enter your personal card application information after registration, including name, gender, student registration number, school, grade, graduation year, contact number, mobile phone, Payment methods, card collection methods, etc., and upload digital ID photos. You can choose "self-pickup" or "express delivery" to pick up the card. For "self-pickup", please present the "Acceptance Receipt" issued by the Yangchengtong Company at the application site. Pick up the card at an outlet; pay the courier fee at the acceptance site, and the card will be delivered to the recipient by the courier company.
The payment method can be "cash payment at Postal Bank" or "payment by card on site at the acceptance outlet" or "payment on site at the acceptance outlet". If you choose "Postal Bank cash payment" online, you need to enter the payment serial number, and go to the acceptance outlet with the Postal Bank payment receipt and copy to handle the business; online select "Card swiping on site at acceptance outlet" or "Onsite payment at acceptance outlet" at the Yangchengtong Customer Service Center You can pay by card or cash on site at the processing point, and there is no need to pay at the Postal Bank separately.
If you choose Postal Savings Bank to pay, please enter the information online 2 working days after payment. Otherwise, because Postal Savings Bank has not uploaded the data to Yangchengtong, the online registration information will not be approved by the system. .
5. Print the information and submit it to the school for stamping and confirmation.
After the student's online registration information has been initially reviewed by the system, the student can print the "Student Card Application Registration Form" and submit the "Student Card Application Registration Form" and the original payment receipt (if paying by bank cash). The school will verify that the application is correct. The school will stamp the official seal on the "Student Card Application Registration Form" and the student will sign on the registration form to confirm.

The student card issuance is based on the application information submitted online. Please confirm the accuracy of the information before submitting it for system review. The final card issuance information will be issued by Yangchengtong Company The acceptance receipt shall prevail.

Step 2: Submit and confirm information on-site at each Yangchengtong customer service center
1. Please bring the following information to students (or parents) to submit and confirm the information at each Yangchengtong customer service center .
On-site credit card payment at the acceptance outlet: Bring the original "Student Card Application Registration Form", bank card or Yangcheng Tong card to any Yangcheng Tong customer service center, and pay on-site by swiping your bank card or Yangcheng Tong card. On-site cash payment at the acceptance outlet: Bring the original "Student Card Application Registration Form" and 30 yuan in cash to the customer service center of Yangchengtong, and pay the card application fee on-site. Bank cash transfer payment: Bring the original "Student Card Application Registration Form", payment receipt and copy to any Yangchengtong customer service center.
2. The Yangchengtong Customer Service Center will check the information, collect the original "Student Card Application Registration Form" and a copy of the payment receipt (if the payment is made in cash from Postal Savings Bank), and issue the "Student Card Acceptance Receipt" to the student (or parent).

Once the card application is accepted (acceptance receipt is issued), the card printing information cannot be modified. The card printing information is incorrect due to incorrect information submitted by the applicant. The sponsor is responsible.

For express delivery, customers do not need to go to the Yangchengtong Customer Service Center to pick up the card. The express company will deliver the student card to the customer. Please show proof of identity when receiving the card.
3. Recharge and use of student cards (1). Use
Starting from January 1, 2010, student cards will enjoy a 50% discount within the preferential range of buses and subways; for non-preferential purchases or other small purchases When purchasing, use the normal Yangcheng Tong card payment method. (2). Recharge
The recharge method for student cards is the same as that for general Yangchengtong cards. It can be recharged at various Yangchengtong recharge outlets. 4. Others: 1. One student card is for one person and cannot be borrowed or used fraudulently.
2. When a student loses his or her student status in Guangzhou due to suspension of study, abnormal movement, death, etc., he or she will no longer enjoy bus and subway discounts, and his or her student card will become invalid.
3. Card refunds must be handled in person with valid ID. Cards returned within the validity period of the student card will not be reissued (see "Student Card Return Processing Instructions" for details).
4. Since the student card wallet is anonymous, please keep it properly. If the student card is lost, the deposit and remaining balance will not be refunded (see "Replacement Instructions for Lost Student Cards" for details).
