Riverside Campus is the earliest campus of King's College, located in Westminster on the north bank of the Thames. The campus is dominated by humanities, law, social sciences and public policies; Physics, engineering and mathematics are also located in strand Building. The King's Building in Binjiang Campus was designed by Sir Robert Smirke in 183 1 and is a first-class building in Britain. The college chapel on this campus is a Gothic building in Byzantine, which was redesigned by British architect Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1864. Macadam Building, built in 1975, is now KCLSU Building, named after Sir Macadam, a graduate of King's College and the first president of the National Student Union. There are marble statues of Sappho and Sophocles in the King's Building on the riverside campus, which were bequeathed by Frida Mond, a friend of Sir israel Gollancz, a professor of English language and literature at King's College. Guy's campus
Guy's campus is located next to London Bridge. The campus is mainly Gay Hospital established by Thomas Gay in 1726, including stomatology, medicine and biomedicine. [58] The King's Gordon Pathology Museum is also located in Gay Campus, which is the largest medical museum in Britain.
Waterloo campus
Waterloo Campus is located on the south bank of the Thames, facing strand Campus across the river. The principal's office and main administrative units are mostly located in the james clerk maxwell Building in this area. The Department of Health, the Department of Life Sciences, the Department of Education and some nursing departments are all located in the largest Franklin-Wilkins building in the school. Franklin Wilkins Building is built between 19 12 and 15. It was originally used as an information office for the public sector dealing with royal copyright and the British National Archives. Later, during World War I, it was converted into King George Military Hospital .. This building was owned by King's College in the1980s and is currently one of the largest university buildings in London. This building is named after rosalind franklin and maurice wilkins, professors of King's College who discovered the structure of DNA. James clerk maxwell Building is named after james clerk maxwell, a mathematical physicist who works at King's College. It is not only the principal's office, but also a part of Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery.
St. Thomas campus
St Thomas's campus is located in Lambeth, London, on the south bank of the Thames, opposite Big Ben and the British Parliament Building. There are some medical and dental departments of St. Thomas Hospital on campus. The famous Nightingale Museum is also located on this campus. St. Thomas Hospital also has a twin research and related research department.
Danmark Hill Campus
The Danish Hill Campus is located in Burwell, south of London. This is the only campus of King's College that is not on either side of the Thames. The campus includes King's College Hospital, Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry. Part of the teaching buildings of stomatology and medical college, and the auditorium of King's College are also in this area.
