1, company name

Finnish law stipulates that the name of a private limited company must have Finnish Osakeyhtio or its abbreviation OY, or Swedish Altiebolag or its abbreviation ab. Some company names are forbidden, such as implying government funding.

2. Requirements of shareholders and directors

At least one shareholder, who can be anyone (both companies and individuals can serve);

At least one director (European resident).

Need 3 board members, or one board member and one deputy board member. (At least one board member is an EU citizen or holds an EU residence permit).

Foreigners need a residence permit to set up a company.

3. Registered capital

The registered capital of a private limited company is at least 2,500 euros, and that of a public limited company is at least 80,000 euros.

4. Registered address

A local address in Finland is required to register a Finnish company. If necessary, our company can help.
