28m long and 15m wide, and the measurement of the court is from the inner edge of the boundary.

3. For all other competitions, the appropriate departments of FIBA, such as the regional committee vs. regional or continental competitions, or the national federation vs. all domestic competitions, have the right to approve the existing courses that meet the following dimensions: the length is reduced by 4 meters and the width is reduced by 2 meters, as long as the changes are proportional to each other.

iv. the height of the ceiling or the lowest obstacle is at least 7m.

5. The lighting of the stadium should be uniform and the luminosity should be sufficient. The placement of lighting equipment shall not interfere with the vision of the players.

lines and their dimensions lines and their dimensions

(1) boundaries

1. The stadium should be drawn with lines according to Article 2, and the boundaries should be at least 2 meters away from the audience, billboards or any other obstacles

.

2. The boundary of the long side of the stadium is called the sideline, and the boundary of the short side is called the end line.

(2) midline

Draw a line parallel to the end line from the midpoint of the sideline, which is called the midline; The center line should be extended by .15m (15

cm) to the outside of both side lines.

(3) penalty line, restricted area and penalty area

1. The penalty line should be parallel to the end line, and its outer edge is 5.8 meters away from the inner edge of the end line; The length of the side line is 3.6 meters. The midpoint of its

must fall on the imaginary line connecting the midpoints of the two end lines.

2. The

ground area formed by drawing two lines from both ends of the penalty line to places 3 meters away from the midpoint of the end line (all measured from the outer edge) is called the restricted area.

if it is colored inside the restricted area, its color must be the same as that inside the middle circle.

3. The penalty area is the restricted area plus a semicircle area with the center of the penalty line as the center and the radius of 1.8m, which is

drawn to the restricted area. The semicircle in the restricted area should be drawn as a dotted line.

4. The position areas on both sides of the penalty area are for players to use when making free throws.

The drawing method is as follows:

(1) The first line is 1.75 meters away from the inner edge of the end line, and measured along the side lines on both sides of the penalty area.

(2) The width of the first position area is .85m (85cm), and it is connected with the beginning of the neutral area.

(3) The width of the neutral area is .4m (4cm), and it is painted with the same color as other lines.

(4) The second location area is adjacent to the neutral area with a width of .85m (85cm).

(5) The third location area is adjacent to the second location area with a width of .95m (85cm).

(6) All lines used to draw these positions are .1m (1cm) long and perpendicular to the outside of the sideline of the penalty area

.

(4) The middle circle should be drawn in the center of the court with a radius of 1.8m, measured from the outer edge of the circle.

if it is colored inside the middle circle, its color must be the same as that inside the restricted area.

(5) 3-point shooting area

A team's 3-point shooting area refers to the whole court area except the area near the opponent's basket which is restricted by the following conditions

. These conditions include:

1. Two parallel lines are drawn from the end line at a distance of 1.25m from the side line;

2. An arc (semicircle) with a radius of 6.25m (measured to the outer edge of the arc) intersects with two parallel lines;

3. The center of the arc should be at the intersection of the vertical line of the center of the opponent's basketball basket and the ground. The distance between the center of the circle and the point

in the inner edge of the terminal line is 1.575 meters.

Note: If the width of the stadium is less than 15m, the arc will still be drawn according to the above radius of 6.25m..

6) The team seat area should be drawn according to the following conditions:

1. Off-court on the same side of the recording table and the team seat;

2. Each area is defined by a line extending at least 2m from the end line, and another line 5m away from the center line and perpendicular

to the sideline and at least 2m long.

Note:

1. During the competition, only coaches, assistant coaches, substitutes and up to five team members with specific positions (such as team leader, doctor, masseur, statistician, interpreter, etc.) are allowed to sit in the team seat area. Other people don't have to sit within 5 meters of the team seat.

The National Federation has the right to approve existing competition venues with a minimum size of 26 meters long and 14 meters wide for holding and competing.

2.2 lines

All lines should be drawn in the same color (preferably white), with a width of 5 cm and clearly visible.

2.2.1 boundary

The playing field is defined by the boundary consisting of two end lines (on the short side) and two side lines (on the long side). These lines are not part of the playing field.

Any person seated on the basketball team should be at least 2 meters away from the competition venue.

2.2.2 midline, middle circle and semicircle

the midline should be marked from the midpoint of both sides and parallel to both ends. It extends 15 cm outside each sideline.

the middle circle should be marked in the center of the playing field with a radius of 1.8m (measured from the outer edge of the circumference). If the middle circle is colored, it must be the same as the color in the restricted area.

a semicircle should be marked on the playing field, with a radius of 1.8m (measured from the outer edge of the circumference), and its center is at the midpoint of the two penalty lines (Figure 2).

2.2.3 free-throw line and restricted area

the free-throw line should be drawn parallel to each end line. From the inner edge of the terminal line to its outermost edge, it should be 5.8m, and its length is 3.6m.. Its midpoint should fall on the imaginary line connecting the midpoints of the two end lines.

the restricted area is the ground area marked on the playing field, which is defined by the end line, the penalty line and two lines starting from the end line (the outer edge of the drawn line is 3 meters away from the midpoint of the end line) and ending at the outer edge of the penalty line. Except for the terminal lines, these lines are all part of the restricted area. The inside of the restricted area can be colored, but it must be the same as the color in the middle circle.

The rebounding positions left for players along both sides of the restricted area during free throws should be marked as shown in Figure 2.

* Two parallel lines perpendicular to the end line are drawn from the end line, and the outer edges are respectively 6.25m away from the intersection of the center vertical line of the opponent's basketball and the ground. The distance between the intersection point and the midpoint of the inner edge of the end line is 1.575 meters.

* Take the same point specified above as the center, draw a semicircle with a radius of 6.25m (measured to the outer edge of the arc) and intersect with two parallel lines.

2.2.5 team seating area

the team seating area (figure 1) should be marked on the record table and the off-court on the same side as the team.

each area is defined by a line extending at least 2 meters from the end line and another line 5 meters away from the center line and at right angles to the sideline and at least 2 meters long.

There must be 14 seats in the team seating area for coaches, basketball players for China's national team and judges. Any other personnel should be at least 2 meters behind the team seat.

2.3 Location of recording table and replacement chair (Figure 4)
