Traveling to North Korea is in June, and students wearing white school uniforms can often be seen in the square at night, refreshed and orderly.
Xiao Jin, the tour guide, proudly mentioned Arirang, another 65,438+10,000-person group gymnastics that has been recorded in Guinness World Records before, and the Wuyi Stadium in Pyongyang. The stadium is located on Lingluo Island in Datong, just like a giant parachute. The stadium has a total construction area of more than 207,000 square meters and can accommodate10.5 million people. It is said that it is the largest stadium in the world at present.
Cars are driving slowly on the streets of Pyongyang, and full of green, almond-shaped buildings and sincere guides accompanying us can be seen everywhere. The "mysterious" Pyongyang in the impression is gentle and pure in reality. North Korea is worth going and going again.
Pyongyang and Beijing are more than 800 kilometers in a straight line. Although the geographical distance is so close, North Korea, as a tourist destination, has always been mysterious. History, complexity, mystery and other factors make the trip to Pyongyang exciting. Nowadays, domestic tourists can travel from Dandong or Beijing to Pyongyang through group tours. In June this year, Air China resumed direct flights between Beijing and Pyongyang, further narrowing the distance between China tourists and Pyongyang.
First acquaintance: deja vu and unexpected encounter
Our tour guides Xiaojin and Xiao Fang are from North Korea International Travel Service. After we flew from Beijing to Pyongyang, we waited in the lobby with a smile on our faces after going through customs and security checks. On that day, many tour guides were also waiting for the arrival of the tour group. They are all wearing knee-length skirts with badges on their shirts, and their neat short hair is really nice.
At the airport, I bought a "Korean tourist passport" with 50 yuan RMB, which can be stamped at various important scenic spots as a souvenir, and the trip to North Korea officially began.
.
The "Golden Dragon" brand bus made in China carries us on a clean and tidy road with lush green belts on both sides. Buildings painted with "almond biscuits", portraits of leaders, red slogans and political posters abound, but we can't see all kinds of billboards that we are used to in domestic cities.
The houses along the road in Pyongyang are painted in pink, sky blue, turquoise and other colors. According to the tour guide, most buildings with about five floors were built in 1950s and 1960s, and buildings with about 10 floors were built after 1980s. Every household is equipped with floor heating.
Pyongyang jietou
Most of the men in the streets of Pyongyang are in suits and ties, white shirts and briefcases, and most of the women are wearing knee-length skirts with proper hairstyles like our tour guides. The bus probably just got off work when it entered downtown Pyongyang. Cars and bicycles are flowing in the streets, and people line up in front of the bus station in an orderly way. Trams and trolleybuses rarely see the common "low-headed family" in China, and people look up at the window. Although it is "rush hour", the whole city is not noisy.
North Korea jietou
The tour guide is happy to introduce the blocks in Pyongyang with detailed figures. Maxima Street, built in the early 1980s, is covered with shade. The buildings on both sides of Zhijie Street were built in only six months, which is a veritable "Maxima Speed". The balcony of the residential building faces the street, and flowerpots are placed on the balcony of every household.
Drive north along Maxima Street, and you can reach the People's Cultural Palace, Ordinary Gate, Wanshoutai Assembly Hall, Korean Revolution Museum, Maxima Bronze Statue, and then the Peony Peak District, where there are the famous Arc de Triomphe and the DPRK-China Friendship Tower.
Liu Jing restaurant
Go to the ordinary gate, and you can see the legendary Liu Jing Hotel from a distance. This once ill-fated building took nearly 30 years to build. This triangular pyramid-shaped building is about 330 meters high and has a total of *** 105 floors. It is a landmark building in Pyongyang, facing the ancient ordinary gate and connecting the past and the future.
Future scientist boulevard
In the future, scientist street 20 15, 1 1 will be completed, and the spiral new buildings will attract attention. It is said that this is a large residential area for science and technology workers and teachers in Pyongyang.
There are many skyscrapers on the streets of Pyongyang. Liming Street, completed on 20 17, is a new landmark of the city, covering an area of 890,000 square meters, with a total construction area of17.28 million square meters, which is often seen in newspapers. I read the latest issue of Korea Today magazine in Pyongyang, with the cover of Dawn Street in Chaoyang. The towering skyscrapers and spacious streets show the new face of Pyongyang.
In front of Liming Street is Kim Il Sung University. Brand-new teaching buildings and dormitories symbolize the local emphasis on talents. Further on, you can see the sports ground and the newly-built aquatic restaurant. Blue and white glass buildings set off the blue sky in Pyongyang.
When Pyongyang first met, there were scenes of deja vu and unexpected surprises. Looking back on the past, this deja vu makes people tolerant and makes people look forward to the future rationally.
Roaming by sea, land and air: the trip to Pyongyang is very interesting.
Visitors who often go to Korean restaurants in China must be familiar with the refreshing taste of "Datong River Beer". Datong River is the fifth largest river in North Korea, and its tributaries flow through the center of Pyongyang, with Mudanfeng District, Central District, Tongjiang District, Pingchuan District, Wanjingtai District, Xiongshan District and Xicheng District on one side, and Datongjiang District, Dongdayuan District, Chuanqiao District, Le Lang District, Lipu District and Dong Si District on the other. Many important scenic spots in Pyongyang are located on both sides of the Datong River, and the winding Datong River adds a gentle color to the city.
In Pyongyang, the Datong River cruise is an experience not to be missed. Get on the boat at the cruise terminal of the "Datong River" boat restaurant next to the site of Datong Gate, and take a two-story cruise ship "Datong River" which can accommodate 300 guests and sail slowly on the calm river. You can enjoy singing and dancing while tasting authentic Pyongyang cuisine.
Young Korean girls take turns to perform distinctive Korean songs and dances, with guqin, bass and saxophone interspersed among them. The classic China songs undoubtedly aroused the chorus of the audience. The first day of Pyongyang's trip ended with fresh and rich Datong River food and refreshing beer.

As night falls, the red torch on the main tower on the other side becomes more and more transparent and bright. Yangjiao Island Hotel International Hotel, a hotel familiar to China tourists, is located in Yangjiao Island in the middle reaches of Datong River, surrounded by water, and sits firmly in a corner. In the breeze, the cruise ship slowly landed, and the cornices and arches of Datong Gate gave off gorgeous colors under the light, which reflected each other in the shape of a double helix with the distant skyscrapers, just like crossing.
Dadongmen
You can enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Datong River by boat, but if you want to overlook Pyongyang from a height, the main thought tower is the best choice.
The main thought tower located on the east bank of Datong River was completed in 1982, which was built to commemorate the seventieth birthday of Kim Il Sung. Building height170m, in which tower height150m. The Chinese characters "main body" are embedded in the front and back of the tower in Korean. The torch at the top of the tower is 20 meters high and there is a tray with a diameter of 8 meters below. The torch can be lit at night and looks like a burning flame in the distance.
The whole building complex consists of the main tower, three portraits, six portraits with different themes, two pavilions and two large fountains, with a total area of 6.5438+0.5 million square meters. On the left and right sides of the tower are granite portraits with the themes of "main business", "bumper harvest", "country of learning", "health and longevity", "main art" and "fortress like an iron wall".
Climb the stairs from the entrance of main tower street. After visiting the signature cards presented by countries at the entrance of the tower, you can enter the tower and queue up to take the high-speed elevator to reach the main tower overlooking Pyongyang 150 meters.

The observation deck is shaped like a lotus, allowing visitors to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Pyongyang without dead ends. Most of the high-altitude photos of Pyongyang seen on the Internet were taken here.

On both sides of the Datong River, there are stocky and colorful houses on one side and ever-changing skyscrapers on the other. The slowly flowing Datong River is slowly witnessing the changes of the city.
Another legendary project in Pyongyang is hidden underground 100 meters. After understanding the whole city in the cloud, it is better to go underground and feel the daily life of Pyongyang people in the subway.
subway
Pyongyang subway was built in 1966, which was initiated by Kim Il Sung after inspecting the underground railway system under construction in Beijing.
The whole is a typical Soviet-style Hongwei architectural style. As the world's largest buried subway line, the deepest is 200 meters, with an average buried depth of 100 meters. At the same time, it has the function of air-raid shelter, which is specially designed for wars that may occur at any time.
subway
The subway fare in Pyongyang is only 5 won, and there is no limit to the number of stations. The guide took us from Fuxing Station and took a stop to Glory Station. Taking the elevator slowly into the underground, we curiously took photos and videos with mobile phones and cameras, and Pyongyang people who came and went seemed to have become accustomed to it.
subway
The subway station is brightly lit, melodious national music is played on the radio, and the murals on both sides are mostly about the story of the leader and the scenery of North Korea. According to the tour guide, the subway has *** 17 carriages, which run every 2 minutes on average during peak hours and every 5 minutes at other times. The subway line is * * * 35km, and the distance between stations is about 2-3km, which is mostly built near residential areas. It is said that the unit will issue subway cards to employees every year, which can be used to take more than 400 subways.

Outside Pyongyang: Kaesong with a long history and Miaoxiang Mountain with beautiful scenery.
In addition to Pyongyang, the historic Kaesong and the beautiful Miaoxiang Mountain are also the must-see destinations for North Korean tour groups.
Kaicheng is 0/70km away from Pyongyang/Kloc-and it takes 2.5 hours by car. Leaving Pyongyang, there are fewer and fewer high-rise buildings, replaced by large areas of farmland and wasteland. Kaesong, located on the north side of the north-south dividing line, was the capital of the first great dynasty to unify the Korean peninsula. It was once called Juniper and Jing Kai. Due to the spread of many historical and cultural sites, on June 23, 20 13, the Kaesong historical site was successfully "applied for heritage" and became the second world cultural heritage of North Korea.
There are many historical sites and cultural relics in Kaesong, including the ancient city of Kaesong, the Full Moon Terrace, the south gate of Kaesong, Sungkyunkwan, Songyang Academy, Wang Jian Mausoleum and Gongcheng Mausoleum. The long history has left classic poems, classics, buildings and cultural relics for future generations to mourn.
Today's Koryo Museum, Sungkyunkwan Museum, is located in Kaesong, which was once the Imperial Academy, the highest institution of learning in the Koryo dynasty, and was a place where aristocratic children studied Confucianism. Pines and cypresses stand upright in the courtyard, and a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree is a precious living fossil, witnessing its historical changes. Six ancient buildings that have been repaired several times still retain the momentum of that year.
In the museum 1000, more than 1,000 cultural relics are quietly displayed in the quaint ancient buildings. Among them, there are Korean celadon from the ruins of the palace of the Korean dynasty, which is "as fine as sapphire and as delicate as crystal", and daily necessities that can let people know the lifestyle of people during the Korean dynasty.
Panmunjom, 8 kilometers away from the city, was originally a little-known place, but it is famous for its history. 1On July 27th, 953, the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed here, and Panmunjom was also called the Armistice Village.
Place of negotiation
According to records, the Korean armistice negotiations started in Laifengzhuang, a suburb of Kaesong controlled by the north, on July 195 10, and moved to Panmunjom, a military demarcation line, on June 195 10. At that time, there were no buildings here, so we had to use some temporary military tents as negotiation venues. The night before the armistice agreement was signed, engineers and technicians from the DPRK and China miraculously built a wooden hall with Korean national characteristics.
Place of negotiation
Today, this signing hall, together with the negotiation venue of that year, has become a historic memorial place. For some time after the Korean armistice, Panmunjom was still used as the meeting place of Armistice Commission.
Signature hall
After the armistice, the two sides built 24 buildings in this "common security area" with a diameter of about 800 meters. In the north, there are Panmunjom and Unification Pavilion, while in the south, there are Freedom House and Peace House, which are the locations of North-South liaison institutions and places for dialogue. On the military demarcation line, there are seven sky-blue simple wooden houses.
military demarcation line
Nowadays, Panmunjom has become a tourist spot, and visitors to North Korea are arranged to visit the metropolis, where they can see the buildings on the other side through seven wooden houses. Tourists are taking pictures here, hoping for peace.
Unlike Kaesong, which carries a heavy history, Miaoxiang Mountain in northwest Korea is famous for its wonderful and beautiful natural landscape. One of the four famous mountains in North Korea, which straddles the junction of South Pyongan Road, Cijiang Road and North Pyongan Road, is called Miaoxiang Mountain because of its wonderful and mysterious mountain scenery and the fragrant arborvitae on the mountain. There is a saying that "three thousand miles of beautiful mountains and rivers are all places of interest. If you don't look at Miaoxiang Mountain, you can't talk about scenery".
mt. myohyang
Deep in the beautiful Miaoxiang Mountain, there is a famous international friendship exhibition hall in North Korea, which displays some of the more than 213,000 gifts given to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il by many countries, organizations and individuals in the world.
exhibition hall
The exhibition hall consists of Kim Il Sung International Friendship Museum (Museum) and Kim Jong Il International Friendship Museum (another museum). The former is bigger than the latter, and both of them are multi-storey large-scale Korean buildings, which look like wood structures from a distance, but are actually concrete buildings. Indoor constant temperature is controlled at 20℃ all the year round. After passing through the gate weighing 4 tons, it is forbidden to take pictures and make noise in the museum.
Appreciate North Korea: Eat naturally.
The richness of food during the trip to North Korea was unexpected, which made tourists relish it. In particular, natural, non-added fresh ingredients make people feel at ease along the way.
Korean ginseng in Kaesong is the most famous hostess, and there is also an indispensable experience in Kaesong, that is, the special copper bowl rice. It is said that this is the dining experience of King Koryo, and the bronzes are placed on the table in turn, which is full of ritual.
Special copper bowl rice
The waiter brought steaming ginseng chicken soup. The golden chicken soup was full of fragrance, which made people's forefinger move, and the chicken was fine but not firewood. The aroma of ginseng was properly preserved in chicken soup. Although copper bowls are easy to conduct heat and inconvenient to drink, people still can't help but pick up the bowls and swallow fresh chicken soup into their stomachs to satisfy them.
Besides ginseng chicken, how can you miss a bowl of authentic Korean cold noodles when you come to North Korea? Authentic Korean cold noodles must be in Liu Yu restaurant. Liu Yu Restaurant, located on the bank of Datong River in Pyongyang, is the top cold noodle restaurant in North Korea, and its status is equivalent to that of Quanjude Roast Duck Head Office in Beijing. This year, the cold noodles of Liu Yuguan appeared on the menu of the welcome dinner for the summit meeting between the ROK and the DPRK.
Yuliuguan
Liuyu Pavilion is a typical traditional Korean building, which was built in 1960s. The main body is divided into two layers, and the whole body is made of white stone. Its spire looks up, its colonnade is tall and straight, its pavilions and pavilions are elegant, its flowing water is gurgling, and there is no lack of royal palace style.
At every meal, there is always a long queue at the gate of Liu Yu Pavilion. It is said that some people living in remote areas of North Korea will take "going to Pyongyang to eat cold noodles from Liu Yu Pavilion" as a small wish. Koreans invite VIPs to dinner and are willing to choose Liuyu Pavilion.
There are three kinds of delicious cold noodles in Liu Yu restaurant. Besides cold noodles, there are fried quail and instant ice cream.
Yuliuguan
The way to eat cold noodles in Korea is very particular. First add white vinegar and mustard to the cold noodles, stir well, then pick up a big mouthful of noodles with chopsticks and suck it into your mouth.
Rebellion and curiosity are human nature, and many travel notes about North Korea are willing to join the experience of "leaving the group at night". One night in Pyongyang, accompanied by a young tour guide, we wandered around the Koryo Hotel. On the roadside, the locals cooked delicious barbecue with a grill. We tasted the local ice cream with the tour guide girl in front of the narrow grocery store on the street. The warm and cheerful smile became an unforgettable memory.
