Liu Yawen, President of the Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court, is the President of the Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China. He took office on November 8, 2017. He was born in 1965 and graduated from the Law School of Wuhan University in Wuhan, Hubei Province. He has a postgraduate degree from the Central Party School and a doctorate in law. He has served as a professor at the Central Party School, deputy secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, and deputy prosecutor general of the Hubei Provincial People's Procuratorate. He has rich experience and achievements in law, jurisprudence, judicial system research and judicial practice. He has also won the title of Hubei Province New Century Talent.
