What is the safety label of dangerous goods? What are the requirements for the safety label of dangerous goods?
The safety label of dangerous goods refers to a carrier label attached to the packaging of dangerous goods provided by the production unit or the sales unit when the dangerous goods circulate in the market, which is used to convey safety information to the operators. It uses simple and easy-to-understand words, graphic symbols and codes to express the dangers of dangerous goods, precautions for safe use and basic requirements for protection. Figure 1-2 shows an example of a safety label for hazardous chemicals.

According to the national standard "Regulations on the Compilation of Chemical Safety Labels" (GB 15258—2009), the safety label uses a combination of words, graphic symbols and codes to indicate the danger and safety precautions of dangerous goods. Before the products leave the factory, the production enterprise shall stick, hang and spray safety labels on the packages or containers; If the package is changed, it shall be re-pasted, hung and printed by the changing unit.

Sticking and hanging (spray printing) of the safety label of dangerous goods should be firm and firm to avoid falling off during transportation and storage. The labels of containers or packages containing dangerous chemicals can only be removed after treatment and confirmation that there is no danger, otherwise the labels should be kept.

For multi-layer packaging and transportation, in principle, it is required that both the inner and outer packaging should be labeled with dangerous goods safety labels, but if the outer packaging has been labeled with safety labels and the inner packaging is the inner lining of the outer packaging, the inner packaging can be exempted from labeling with safety labels; The outer package is transparent, the safety label of the inner package can clearly penetrate the outer package, and the outer package can be unlabeled.
