The main design intention of arena PvP system is to provide a highly competitive environment for players. Players don't need to spend a lot of time in the arena, but more rely on the tacit understanding and strength of the team to win. Because the purpose of the arena system is the ultimate PvP battle, the level of teams entering the arena is limited to 70. If it is below level 70, you can also team up with other players to practice in the arena once, but you can't get the team level and arena points through practice (the definitions of team level and arena points will be given later).

Battle of Honor-Arena
The arena is similar to the battlefield, and belongs to the copy of battle platform, in which players participate in teams. At present, there are three arenas in the game-the trial arena in Nageland, the blood ring of Feng Daoshan, and the ruins of Lordaeron added in 2. 1.2. Their design styles are very different, and the unique elements can bring players a completely different fighting experience.
Try practicing the ring:
Venue: Naglan, southeast of Galada
Style: Ancient Orc proving ground
Special setting: One minute after the start of the game, a hurricane will roll up in the arena to make the game interesting.
Shadow sight: 90 seconds after the start of the game, two shadow sights (★) will appear in the arena. It can let you see stealth and stealth players, but it will also do you a little harm. Therefore, players need to use shadow vision flexibly.
Ring of blood:
Venue: Feng Daoshan, north of Raytheon fortress
Style: Ogre Arena
Shadow sight: 90 seconds after the start of the game, two shadow sights (★) will appear in the arena. It can let you see stealth and stealth players, but it will also do you a little harm. Therefore, players need to use shadow vision flexibly.

Form your team.
Similar to the guild structure, the arena team is also a lasting and stable group formed by players themselves. The team has its own name and logo, but it is still different from the guild. The events in the arena are divided into three categories: 2V2, 3V3 and 5V5, which respectively correspond to teams of three sizes. Different from guilds, players can join several different teams at the same time, but only one team of the same type can join. For example, you can't join two 3V3 teams at the same time, but you can be a member of a 2V2 team and a 5V5 team. In addition, you need to reach level 70 to join or form an arena team.
The process of forming an arena team is the same as that of creating a guild. First of all, you need to buy a team registration form from the arena propagandist, and name your team. After collecting enough signatures, you can form a team (V2 team needs at least 1 signature, 3V3 team needs 2 copies, and 5V5 needs 4 copies). After collecting signatures, hand over the completed team registration form to the arena propagandist. Next, you need to choose a team flag, which is similar to the design process of guild badges. The main difference is that you don't have to spend money to design the team flag.
The maximum number of people in the team is twice the number of people needed to form a team. In other words, if the main player is not here, you can deploy a substitute player.
Battle of the arena
After forming a good team, go to the arena to compete and prove your strength. Just like the battlefield queue, you need to enter the arena queue: talk to the arena quartermaster and choose the arena event queue you want to join. Players can choose to enter the ranking match or the drill match queue, and the result of the drill match will not affect the player's team ranking. Once your team enters the queue, the team deployment system will start looking for other teams that match your team level. After finding a suitable target team, the two teams will be transported to the arena. ...
Fighting in the arena will be governed by a specific set of rules. The following are the most important clauses. We suggest that you read these rules carefully before attending the arena for the first time.
Preparatory cutting
Just like the battlefields in Lan Basin or Warsong Canyon, before the battle in the arena begins, the two teams will be arranged in different waiting areas.
After entering the arena, the player's gain spell effect and magic items will be removed. This is done to prevent players from using external gain spells and items made by other players outside the team.
The player's health and mana are set to full.
Reducing the impact of spells on players will be retained. This is done to prevent players from using arena events to remove bad spells.
In the waiting area, mana/anger/energy consumption is reduced to zero, which is convenient for the team to make all preparations before the game.
In the waiting area, the consumption of soul fragments is reduced to zero, which is convenient for warlocks to make healing stones for team members without preparing a large number of soul fragments in advance. In other words, warlocks can summon pets at this time without consuming soul fragments.
After entering the arena, pets will be disbanded. Players must summon their pets again. This is done to prevent players from summoning pets that have a longer cooling time before entering the arena.
Team flag
Each player will automatically carry a team flag to identify the player's team to distinguish between the enemy and me. The national flag is printed with the team emblem. You'd better choose a cool design to make the enemy shine.

The game begins.
Every game is an independent battle. After one game, you will challenge different opponents in the next game. Remember, before every game, you don't know who your opponent is or the professional combination of the opposing team.
Die in the arena
After the player dies in the arena, he can walk around in a state of soul and "watch the battle", but he can't be resurrected. The window to release the soul prompts "You are dead. Release the soul and enter the viewing mode. " Once the player chooses to release the soul, a message will pop up in the chat window: "You are in viewing mode. To give up the game, right-click the arena icon on the minimap, and then select the "Leave the Battle" tab.
Winning condition
Every competitive game is a life-and-death duel, that is to say, after all the players of one side die, the other side can win and the game is over.
Post-game summary
After the activity, the scoreboard will pop up, displaying the following information:
Player's name
team name
Number of kills per player
Damage value of each player
The amount of healing per player
The ranking of each team has changed.
Other information
Players are not allowed to use consumables other than bandages and magic items in the arena.
Players cannot use skills/spells/items with a cooldown of more than 15 minutes in the arena. These include resurrection spells.
There is no time limit for arena events.
The dark vision device in the arena can let you see stealth or invisible players, but using it will cost you 15% of your health. This device can help you fight against players who try to hide and delay the game.
After the player comes into play, the cooldown of all spells and items whose cooldown is less than 15 minutes will be reset. This is done to ensure that players can use these spells and items after the game starts.
Players can leave the arena team by typing /teamquit or /teamband. Example: /teamquit 2v2
When the player leaves the field, the pet summoned for the last time will be recalled.
Team ranking, arena points and attractive rewards.
From team level to arena points
The arena system aims to reward those players who win by virtue of their excellent fighting quality, among which the team level, arena points and arena rewards are closely related.
Each team has a team rank value. Rank ranking reflects the performance of your team in the arena; The higher the ranking, the stronger the team. After entering the arena queue, the team deployment system will find the right opponent according to the ranking of your team. Every time the team wins a game, the ranking will rise accordingly; On the contrary, it will fall. The range of ranking changes depends on the ranking difference between your team and other teams. Beating the team with high ranking is definitely better than beating the team with low ranking. Similarly, losing to the lower ranked team is definitely more expensive than losing to the lower ranked team. The system conversion formula is complicated, but the basic concept is similar to the Elo ranking system of professional chess competition.
At the end of this week, the ranking of the team will be converted into the arena points won by the team in this week. Teams need to participate in at least ten games per week to earn arena points, while players must achieve at least 30% attendance in his/her team's weekly games to earn points. The conversion curve from team level to arena score increases linearly in the initial stage, and increases logarithmically once the team level reaches a certain boundary point. That is to say, when the rank of the team exceeds a certain boundary point for a period of time, the score of the arena won by the team will increase significantly, but the final transformation curve will tend to be smooth.
Conversion formula between team rank ranking and arena points
X= team level, Y= arena points.
If x<1500: y = 0.38 * x-194.
(Note: The calculation result may be negative, but 0 is still the final result statistically. )
If x>1500: y =1426.79/(1+918.836 * e (-0.00386405 * x)).
2V2 and 3V3 have 70% and 80% profit reduction effects respectively.
Get a reward
In the arena system, arena points are regarded as currency in circulation. Players need to use a certain number of arena points to buy arena rewards instead of using gold coins. We have made an important improvement to the previous reward system-the arena points won by players will not be attenuated. You can hoard up to 5000 arena points. Players can go to Area 52 of Outland netherstorm and browse the arena rewards in the arena merchants. If you have enough arena points, you can buy these rewards.
Arena season and ladder
Another cool design concept of the arena system is the introduction of the concept of seasons. Each season lasts for several months. At the end of the season, the highest ranked arena team will receive some unique rewards, such as epic mounts or other great items. All teammates of the champion team will also receive special titles to show their achievements this season (ranking from high to low):
1. Gladiator
Step 2 duel
3. Competitors
4. challenger
The setting of the season is conducive to the introduction of new arena rewards. With the update of game copy and team content, new and powerful items will appear constantly; Game designers can use the arena season to add new rewards to the arena PvP system, thus promoting the balance of game content.
