Quickly find mail
It is not easy to find what you want in a large number of letters. The Find Mail option allows users to search for messages in multiple folders to find any messages in a folder or subfolder. Click the "Edit" menu and select "Find Mail". Any of the following conditions can be used as the criteria for finding emails: the sender of the email, the subject or title of the email, the text in the email, etc.
Automatically add message signature
In OutlookExpress5, the automatic signature function can be realized by the following methods: (1) After starting OutlookExpress, select the "Tools Options" command; (2) In the options dialog box, click the signature tab; (3) In the Signature tab, click the box before "Add this signature to all sent mails" to make it in the selected state, and the automatic signature function will take effect; (4) In the Signature box, create a new signature name, and type all the personal information you want to add in the text box below, such as name, contact address, telephone number, etc. (5) If you want to automatically add signatures when replying and forwarding emails, you can click the box in front of "Don't add signatures to replied and forwarded emails" to make them in an unchecked state; (6) Click "OK" button, and your signature will be automatically added to your email the next time you create a new email. Of course, you can click the "Advanced" button to set a beautiful signature for each of your accounts.
Reject "spam"
Select Inbox Assistant in the Tools menu bar, and then click Add. The window is divided into two parts, the upper part is "processing conditions" and the lower part is "processing methods". For example, you often receive spam, and if you want to never receive it again, you can select "sender" in the column of "handling conditions" and fill in the above address; Next, select "Delete from Server" in "Handling Method"; After clicking OK, you can see the description of "If it is in the description box, it will be deleted directly from the server", and the purpose is achieved.
Back up your address book.
In OutlookExpress, the address book is very important. It records all your mailing addresses, but for some reason, it is very important to back up the address book when you need to reinstall the system or format the disk. A file named username.wab was found in the directory "C: Windows \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Address Book", where username is the registered user name on the computer. This is your address book. You can back it up to the specified path so that you can reinstall OutlookEx later? Press and copy to the original directory.
Write e-mail offline
Click the "File" menu and select "Work Offline", so that users can write emails calmly when they are not online. At this point, all new messages sent are saved in the Outbox window.
