Can I transfer to Malaysia?
For various reasons, more and more overseas students from China have asked about some policies and transfer ways in Malaysia. As the only free service platform for Malaysian students and partners of Malaysian universities, we in Malaysia have the responsibility and obligation to help more China students to re-choose their favorite schools and majors. Because we have specially done the following local transfer procedures in Malaysia, I hope that China students who want to transfer can get the greatest help. Step 1. Prepare materials. First, prepare the materials for the first application to a Malaysian school in China, including the transcripts of the highest academic qualifications in China, notarized graduation certificates, full-page copies of passports and eight passport-type photos. If you are applying for a master's degree, secondly, go to the international student office of the current school and issue all the transcripts and certificates of the current school. Because transfer needs to re-submit materials for visa, it is necessary to replace the original school with the visa of the new school in the future. These materials need to be stamped and signed by the original school, including: each page of transcripts and certificates is stamped and signed by the school, and the first page of passport and the valid visa page are stamped and signed by the school and the person in charge. Step two. Choose a school. For students who have graduated from the original school, in order to choose a school for further study, you can ask which schools have their favorite majors. For details, please refer to our self-help study abroad network in www.ukmy.org. For students who didn't know the real school situation and professional courses before coming, they should choose a new school according to their own requirements and professional interests. Please refer to /school.asp for school information? Step three. Apply for a new school. (1) Students who have decided which new school to apply for, or whose school scope has been set within 1-2, prepare all the required materials and then contact the person in charge of our self-taught study abroad network. (2) Students near Kuala Lumpur will have a shuttle bus; Students who live far away can gather at a bigger shopping mall or bus stop, and we will drive you to school. (3) After visiting the new school, students are satisfied with the environment and curriculum of the new school, so they can study your application materials and pay the application fee for the first time (the application fee for each school is different). Step four. Withdrawal of notices and letters. The remaining thing is to get the notice from the new school and go to the original school to get the letter of withdrawal. After paying the application materials and application fees for the new school, students can get the notice on the same day or the next day. If they don't get the notice that day, our staff will go to the new school the next day to help you get it and send it to your old school, and take you to the international office to hand in the notice and your passport. The original school will hand in your passport to the Immigration Bureau and shorten your current visa to about 2-4 weeks (the process of visa shortening is about 2 weeks). After that, the school will give you a passport and a letter of withdrawal from the school. After getting these two things, our staff will take you to the new school. In addition to handing in these two materials, you need to write a letter to the immigration office yourself. Explain why you want to transfer (for example, the original school does not have its own major, etc.). After the new school receives these materials from you, plus the application materials stamped with the official seal of the previous school and the signature of the person in charge, you can get a new visa from the immigration office. This is the end of the transfer procedure. If there are classes in the new school during this transfer process, students can attend classes first and then continue to go through the transfer procedures themselves. Note: As students' applications now have to go through the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in Malaysia, the MOHE will mainly check students' attendance and transcripts. If the student's attendance rate is less than 70% or the exam results are too poor (for example, 10 failed in 7 or 8 exams), the higher education department will consider rejecting the student's transfer. Then students can only go back to their original schools, and then consider transferring after their grades and attendance meet the standards.
