When drawing hair, you should follow the direction of hair in the previous pencil draft. The light-receiving surface is bright, and the shadow part is dark or a mixture of these two colors. When mixing colors, the order of dark and light colors is different, and the background color of the hair will be different. You can feel it yourself. After hooking my hair, I began to repair the details with colored lead, that is, trimming and smoothing these burrs, using the same or similar color as the oil pastel. Trimming details is to clean up the edges and distinguish the relationship between objects. When drawing hair, you can trim the edges and enlarge them, and adjust them according to the picture effect. It's very patient to draw this part. It doesn't matter to take your time, but don't be impatient.
Next, I drew a gray cat with a light gray oil pastel, drew a meat pad on the cat's paw with a pink and white oil pastel, and then drew stripes with a light brown oil pastel and blended with gray to prepare for the cat's hair behind. Then put it next to the cat, and I began to draw the lower part of the picture, that is, clothes and plants. First of all, I painted pomegranate leaves on my clothes and painted them sapphire blue. Then use wooden strokes to draw cat hair, according to the growth direction. Then notice that there are two plants on the back of the cat's head. Pay attention to the relationship between the front and the back when drawing. Details can be supplemented with colored lead. I made this on my arm with some red fruit. Scrape off the coating with a wooden pen first, and then paint it red, which can reduce the greasy caused by mixed color. Then draw the remaining plants and fruits here on the cat's tail. Then color the pomegranate fruit and describe the details of some plants in the lower left corner. Then we drew bees, and the expression was quite helpless. We first hit the bottom with an oil painting stick, and then painted the stripes, eyes, tentacles, wings and other things of bees in black, brown and blue, as well as the flying track behind them. After painting these, I began to draw the plants in front of my clothes. The relationship between these plants is a bit complicated, so it took me a long time to sort out the relationship, but it will be fine after sorting it out, so don't give up when painting here. The painting is the same as before.
Remember to draw the veins of small leaves on your nose, and then add some red with red lead. I'm scraping off the small particles of the oil pastel stuck to my face with an art knife, and then I'll clean up the picture. Next, we will draw the details of pomegranate fruit, using sapphire blue and deep red lead to draw the leaves and fruits respectively. 06. Then complete the plants on the right side of the cat's tail. The painting is the same as before. Many steps are actually repeating the previous actions. I copied about three or four. In fact, I have mastered several expressions of board drawing, and I will find that compared with the original, the copied ones are still good. Next, I found it useless to just plagiarize, because even the best plagiarism is the result of others. You are just imitating, and all you can learn is the expression of the original, that is, some software technologies. If you really want to draw by yourself, there is no idea in your mind and you don't know how to write in your hands.
At this time, I began to try semi-copying, that is, adding some of my own ideas on the basis of the original work, which is equivalent to adding some of my own hand-painted ideas to the mastered techniques. By collecting materials (first drawing a draft on paper, then taking photos with my mobile phone and sending it to PS for painting), or changing the composition of the original picture, I replaced or modified what I thought was useful into the original picture.
