The northwest of Shigatse Island faces Snake Island, which is the largest island in Lugu Lake. On one side of the island, there are stalagmites, which become a natural pier. A winding path leads directly to the top of the island, and there are many azaleas and wild cherry trees along the road. At the end of the flowers, is the Wu Bi Temple of the Yellow Sect and Lamaism. The temple was built in 1634 and rebuilt in 1989. There are Buddha statues such as Sakyamuni, Guanyin, Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Buddha, Zong Kaba, a master of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, his two disciples and the patron saint. Every Tibetan calendar festival or Buddhist festival, religious people along the lake will come here to pray for blessings and worship Buddha, and the incense is flourishing and very lively. In addition, there is a white pagoda on the island, which is the spiritual pagoda of Ayun Mountain, the head of the Tusi Prefecture in Yongning. Ayunshan was once a famous Mosuo politician in Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet.

2. Lugu Lake

Lugu Lake, known as Lukou Haizi in ancient times, also known as Zuosuohai, commonly known as Liang Hai, is located between Yanyuan County of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province and Ninglang Yi Autonomous County of Lijiang City in Yunnan Province. The residents around the lake are mainly Mosuo people, but there are also some Naxi people. Mosuo people still retain the matriarchal clan marriage system. 3. Livby Temple

The temples on Shigatse Island belong to the Lamaism of the Yellow Sect and were founded in 1634. In the 1960s, it was destroyed as a product of feudal superstition due to well-known reasons. 1989, initiated by the Living Buddha of Yi Shi in Lausanne, the county tourism bureau was responsible for the reconstruction, which was completed in1990+February. The Buddha statues and utensils enshrined in the temple were donated voluntarily by local religious believers. There are Buddha statues such as Sakyamuni, Guanyin, Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Buddha, Guru Zongkaba of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and his two disciples, the protector, and the statue of the living Buddha of Yi Shi in Lausanne, which was created by the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in Luoshui Village. Above the main entrance is the inscription "Yaochi Qionglou", written by the living Buddha in Lausanne in Tibetan and translated into Chinese by the famous calligrapher Mr. Shang Wen. During Tibetan festivals or Buddhist festivals, the management committee of Livobi Temple takes the lead in holding large-scale Buddhist activities here. Especially on the second day of the sixth lunar month, fasting and taboo ceremonies are the most grand. During this period, religious people along the lake and religious people in Yongning, Rabe, Qiansuo and Zuosuo participated voluntarily, reaching more than 100 people. It is said that in the past, Leviby Temple was small, but it was famous. Whenever there is a disaster in the villages around the lake or the world is dying, it will be shown to people. For example, magical things such as the Buddha taking off his hat and the Buddha stepping down from the Buddhist platform all happened here, so today, after reconstruction, pilgrims continue to burn incense.

4. Daluoshui Village

Daluoshui Village, also known as Daluoshui, is the earliest developed village around Lugu Lake, which is divided into two parts. The whole village is a wooden shack of Mosuo people, which is not only warm in winter and cool in summer, but also particularly earthquake-proof. The service facilities and shops in the village are relatively complete, and there are many small shops selling special souvenirs, which are the first choice for many tourists to stay in Lugu Lake. There are many pig trough boats by the lake. Visitors can pay for a boat trip to the lake and go to two small islands on the lake. Every night, the local Mosuo people will wear traditional costumes, perform songs and dances, and be very lively. They can also barbecue in tents set up by the lake.

5. Iwashima

Xiwao Island was originally named Shuizhai Island, and the locals called it Snake Island, which was named after so many snakes came out to bask in the sun after the rain in summer. Dr Locke, an American botanist, lived in Snake Island for eight years. He had a very good relationship with the Mosuo people and had deep feelings for this late foreign friend. Most people also call this island "Rock Island". Rock Island is full of dense plants. The largest tree on the island was planted by Dr. Locke in the early 1920s, and now it is a first-class protected plant in Lugu Lake. There is a "Manidui" on the top of the mountain in the center of the rock island. The prayer flags around Manidui have been washed away by wind and rain, which is the symbol of rock island.
