A. Examples of living in the present

Reading Shi Tiesheng-Living in the Present

Reading Shi Tiesheng's prose requires a person to hold a book and meditate quietly.

The thoughts and feelings in prose are often the closest to the author in life. Every word is experienced by the author in his life and the crystallization of thousands of thoughts in his heart. Shi Tiesheng lived to the most arrogant age, and fate suddenly crippled his leg, so he was miserable, resentful and thinking, and he was in a barren but not declining garden-Ditan.

In that garden, he finally figured it out: he understood that death is something that can't be missed no matter how delayed, and a festival that will definitely come. When reading his article "I and Ditan", I also fluctuated with his inner ups and downs and was moved by his thinking.

Shi Tiesheng is an admirable writer. His writing is integrated with his life and tells the meaning of his life in the form of words. He talks about affection, friendship and love. But also the torture of the ultimate meaning of life. He can shape his world for us in the perfect combination of emotion and reason, but stubbornly believes that we have shaped him and the world.

His feelings, friendship and love deeply touched me. When recalling his mother, he said: I really want to warn all adult boys not to be stubborn with their mother, let alone be shy. I have understood, but I am too late. This is his heartfelt regret and sadness after discovering his mother's suffering and greatness. His mother is great and patient. She works hard for her disabled children. I think if we are unhappy, our misfortunes will be doubled in our mother's place. But there is also a sad fact: our relatives are not always around to take care of us and love us. If they are still alive, it is really a blessing for us: we can still take care of them and honor them. Reduce a little regret that you can't repay your loved ones.

For mother, we can read a trace of regret from his words. But for friendship, he cherishes and thanks. At the age of twenty-one, Shi Tiesheng was admitted to Friendship Hospital. At the age of twenty-one, he was carried out of the hospital by his friends. He's not dead and he can't walk. He later joked that he could always live in friendship, which may be related to his admission to Friendship Hospital at the age of 2/kloc-0. Indeed, in those difficult years, his friends gave him great help. He loves his friends and thanks them.

It is undoubtedly enviable that a person has sincere affection and friendship. For love, Shi Tiesheng said that it is a symbol of the beautiful star in the Milky Way. Indeed, love is beautiful. I think: because of this, everyone is eager to be nourished by love. Love should be sweet. But he also said that nothing can prove love, and love is a proof of loneliness. But loneliness is not loneliness, nor loneliness, nor emptiness and boredom. A lonely heart must be a full heart, full of overflowing and rushing out, eager for someone to echo him, accept him and understand him. On the road of love, eternal is not loneliness, not reunion, but prayer. Maybe he's right. Love should not be an excuse for loneliness, loneliness, emptiness and boredom. Love is the search and fusion of two souls, and it is the most sacred. Therefore, only by advocating love can we pursue love.

The affection, friendship and love described by Shi Tiesheng not only moved me, but also made me feel the beauty of life. San Mao said: Love is like Zen. You can't say. You can't say. It is wrong to say it. Maybe we should bury our love in the softest place in our hearts. In real life, the emulsion of love overflows from the softest place in the heart. Nourish our boring life.

Maybe life is spent in dryness and wetness. Countless people have spent their lives.

However, Shi Tiesheng is not satisfied with thinking about these three emotions. When he ignited my longing for a better life, he suddenly asked: Where are we going? Where are we going? What is our purpose? Where is our happiness? Where is our happiness? Where is our road to redemption? The ultimate torture of this life has plunged me into pain.

In this kind of pain, I really saw the "future" in a piece of Wang Yang: mankind is going to die, the earth is going to die, and the universe is going to die. That's why I think it's not only painful, but also extremely painful. I suddenly felt extremely painful, which made me think: I don't want to, I'd better live in the present.

Yes, live in the process, live in the present. This is the same as what Shi Tiesheng told me after thinking about it! Then his answer to this question is meaningless. Because even if he doesn't tell me that, I will think so. No, I wouldn't want to live in the process of reality if he hadn't let the problem get me into great pain first I'm more likely to live in a busy and conservative way.

I don't want this life. Thinking about the ultimate torture of life suddenly made me understand my unwillingness. I really don't want to live like this. Fortunately, I realized this before the end of my life journey. If I want to think about the ultimate torture of life in the last stage of my life, I'm afraid I will only think with my heart, but I have no intention of living any more. Because the future is too depressing. When I reached the goal of torture, I found that the process was over. I'm afraid regret is not just a sigh.

However, there seems to be no universal standard for this process. I'm afraid the answer to this question depends on different views. As for me, I understand that everything in this world is insignificant except death and life. As for the pain of life, it is inevitable. In the design of Good Luck, Shi Tiesheng used God's right to design a painless life, but he still couldn't make the hero happy forever. Then, I must admit and love this pain. Since the pain is admitted, that person should pursue and surpass it. Yes, if the meaning of life lies in the process, it lies in the pursuit and transcendence. If neither you nor I dare to challenge or exceed the limit red line set by God for everyone, then even if you are a celebrity in any field, I am an ordinary person and even an ordinary person is not disabled, then we are the same. Pursuit and transcendence may never reach the goal, but it really constitutes our whole life.

Reading Shi Tiesheng's prose made me think a lot and learned a lot. Shi Tiesheng said, I can't tell you who it is, I can only tell you what I can think of me. When reading the world he wrote in words, I have to admit that the thoughts he gave me constitute part of my world outlook and outlook on life. Although he said that we shaped him and the world. But in the end, I have to say: I can't tell you how much I have read and how deeply I understand his article.

B. Why do you have more emotional experiences? I only have the feeling of living in the present, and I don't like my ex as much as I did at the beginning. Is it normal?

Your Excellency seems too persistent. These samsara things are still in the future and unattainable. We can't prove it, and the answer is hard to say, so we won't say it. To live in the present is to grasp the present. Let bygones be bygones. The future has not yet arrived. Now is the most important thing. Living realistically means not dreaming all the time. Society is very realistic, daily necessities, soy sauce and vinegar tea are all necessities of life, and real life is cruel. We should recognize the reality and don't always think about it.

C. Old stories of living in the present

Celebrity Story: Living in the Present

At the beginning of Xuan Di's accession to the throne, he wrote a letter to promote the "Temple Music" dedicated to Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, but it was opposed by Xiahou Sheng, a doctor of Guanglu. The prime minister, the censor and other ministers were in a panic and dared to oppose the emperor's letters. Is this good? Immediately, he signed a letter to impeach Xiahou Sheng for "outrageous behavior". By the way, Ba Huang, the prime minister who refused to sign the memorial, also reported it to the emperor on the charge of "inviolability". So they were arrested and imprisoned together, sentenced to death and awaiting execution.

Xiahou Sheng was a famous Confucian scholar at that time, especially proficient in Shangshu. He has always been an honest and frank person, and he can't please others. Now he is greatly humiliated and depressed, and he is disheartened at the thought of the emperor's unkindness and the impermanence of life. Fortunately, the more unjust bully was locked up with him, and someone confided in loneliness. Ba Huang is optimistic by nature. He had long admired Xiahou Sheng as a great scholar, but he didn't get close to him. He didn't expect to be put in the same cell because of an unexpected disaster. He thought to himself, "I used to be busy at work every day, but now I have time, and a tutor is just around the corner." Why not make up this lesson quickly? " Ba Huang told me the significance of asking for advice. Xiahou Sheng said with a wry smile, "We have all committed capital crimes and will be executed tomorrow. What's the use of reading the Bible now? " Ba Huang said, "Confucius has a saying:? If you listen, you will die in the evening. ? People should live in the present, seize the present, learn something, and realize something. Today is happy, why bother about the illusory tomorrow? " Hearing this, Xiahou Sheng did it one brace up. Deeply moved, he immediately agreed to Ba Huang's request. From then on, they sat on the floor. Every day, Xiahou Sheng gave Ba Huang a lecture on Shangshu, and Ba Huang listened carefully. The two of them taught day and night with relish and studied imperceptibly. I still clap my hands and laugh from time to time. The prison guard came to have a look, and the result was very confused. I couldn't understand why these two dying people were so happy.

Xuan Di was urged to execute Xiahou Sheng and Ba Huang. Xuan Di sent someone to the prison to investigate whether the two men were sad and repented, and reported that they liked reading every day. Looks carefree. Emperor gaozu Xuan Di was very dissatisfied, but he also lamented that they were smart and could not bear to kill them, so the case dragged on for a long time.

Although they are in prison, they are determined to live in the present Xiahou Sheng and Ba Huang without any obstacles and nothing can bind them. Time is no longer their enemy, because they have something to do. Two winters passed, and they didn't think it was a long time. On the contrary, they have become more sophisticated in knowledge research, improved ideologically and enriched spiritually.

One day two years later, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty proclaimed an amnesty for the whole world, and Xiahou Sheng and Ba Huang were released from prison. But they were not driven back to their hometown, but were directly promoted to the court. Xiahou Sheng was appointed as a remonstrance doctor and stayed with the emperor. Ba Huang, a secretariat of Yangzhou, went abroad as an official. Later, Xiahou Sheng became the teacher of the Prince with integrity and erudition, at the age of 90. As a thank you, the prince made him wear plain clothes for five days. Confucian scholars all over the world are proud of this. Ba Huang is famous for his clever and capable performances. Later, when he became prime minister, history books evaluated him. Since the foundation of the Han Dynasty, there have been many outstanding prime ministers, but when it comes to governing the people, it is "headed by Pakistan".

Prison is a turning point in the fate of Xiahou Sheng and Ba Huang. Yes, from a scholar-bureaucrat with infinite scenery to a death row prisoner, this turning point is too big for people to adapt to. But who can say that this prison is not the starting point of their new life? The sound of reading came from that dark and horrible place. Let them know that the meaning of life is to live in the present, otherwise, how can Xiahou Sheng be 90 years old and how can he have the reputation of being the first in Ba Huang?

The greatest distress in life is waiting for death. Because most people live in the world, they are living in the expectation of the future.

However, if you know that death is close at hand and the flame of hope goes out, your heart will often dry up and everything will no longer be meaningful. But smart people also know. Listening to the ticking of time, I feel that life is like blood dripping from me and disappearing. What's the point of concentrating on enduring the cruel torture of time? Nothing is more realistic than letting go of everything, worrying about life, obsessing about the future, grasping the only moment that can be grasped, doing what you can at hand, and living every minute of the moment to the fullest. The Buddhist said, "What's wrong with doing it when you see it, and letting it go when you do it?" This mentality seems to be negative, but it actually contains great wisdom. If you live in the present, you will live in the future.

D. why do I get confused and can't calm down every time I encounter something?

Seven ways to shape the sunshine mentality

Change attitude, enjoy the process, live in the present, be emotionally independent, and learn to be grateful. "Heaven" and "hell" are all made by heart, so if you are under too much pressure, you will learn to bow your head.

So, how to shape the sunshine mentality? Here are seven ways to share with you.

The first method: change your attitude.

If you can't change things, change your attitude towards them. A person's injury because of what happened is not as serious as his view of things. The matter itself is not important, what matters is what people think of it.

There is an idiom called "A blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise": In the ancient East, a wise man lost a horse, and his neighbor said, "You are really unlucky." The wise man replied, "I don't know if it is good or bad." Soon, the lost horse came back with a wild horse, and the neighbor said, "You are lucky to have another horse." The wise man replied, "I don't know if it is good or bad." Soon, the wise man's son rode a wild horse, fell off the horse and broke his leg. The neighbor said, "You are unlucky. Such a son has a broken leg." The wise man replied, "I don't know if it is good or bad." After a while, the emperor recruited soldiers and many young people were killed on the battlefield. The son of the wise man was unable to fight because of his broken leg, so he was not called up and survived. So in the long run, we don't know whether anything is good or bad. A thing is just a coin, sometimes it may be heads, a few days later it may be tails, and later it may turn over. If everything is divided into two, people will become rational and free and easy.

Changing attitude can often lead to * * *, and with * * *, there will be fighting spirit and the result will often change. There is a classic case in China: In ancient times, two scholars, A and B, went to catch the exam and saw a coffin on the way. A said, "What bad luck! I met a coffin, and this exam is dead. " B said: "coffin, promotion and wealth, it seems that my luck has come, and I will definitely be admitted this time." When they answered the questions, their efforts were different, and as a result, B was admitted. When they got home, they all said to their wives, "That coffin is really clever." This case shows that mentality can affect people's ability, and ability can change people's destiny. Ensuring a good mood at the moment is the basis for ensuring a good mood all day. If you can keep a good mood every day, you will get a good quality of life and experience a wonderful life that others can't.

The second method: enjoy the process.

Enjoy the process and make every day wonderful. Life is a process, not a result. If you don't enjoy the process, everyone knows what the result is. Life is a bracket, the left bracket is life, and the right bracket is death. All we have to do is fill in the brackets and try to fill them with wonderful life and good mood.

There is a young man who sees through the world of mortals and does nothing every day, sitting lazily under the tree in the sun. A wise man asked him, "Young man, why don't you make money at such a good time?" The young man said, "It's boring. If you make money, you have to spend it. " The wise man asked again, "Why don't you get married?" The young man said, "It's boring. Maybe you have to get a divorce. " The wise man said, "Why don't you make friends?" The young man said, "It's boring. If you make friends, you may turn against each other. " The wise man gave the young man a rope and said, "why don't you hang yourself?" You have to die anyway. You might as well die now. " The young man said, "I don't want to die." The wise man went on to say, "Life is a process, not a result." Young people suddenly wake up, which is called "waking the dreamer with a word".

How to enjoy the process of life? Focus on positive things. Life is like a trip, and memory is like photography. Attention determines choice, and choice determines content. There are two people, A and B, watching the scenery. At first, you looked at me, too Both of them are very happy. Later, A played a clever trick. He walked faster than B and took a look at the scenery earlier than B. At first glance, how can you take a look before me and walk faster than A? So they walked faster and faster, and finally they ran away. Originally, I came to see the scenery, but now it has become a competition. I didn't see the scenery along the way for a while, and finally both of them regretted it. This is the process of not enjoying life.

The third method: live in the present.

The real meaning of living in the present comes from Zen. Someone asked a Zen master, what is it to live in the present? The Zen master replied that eating is eating and sleeping is sleeping. This is called living in the present.

Let me ask you now, what is the most important thing for you? Who is the most important person? What time is the most important? Some people may say that the most important thing is to get promoted, get rich, buy a house and a car, the most important people are parents, lovers and children, and the most important time is the college entrance examination, graduation defense and wedding. I'm telling you, none of these things exist. The most important thing is what you do now. The most important person is the person you are with now. The most important time is now. This view is called living in the present.

A man was chased by a tiger. He ran so hard that he accidentally fell off the cliff. He was quick-sighted and caught a crutch, and his body hung in mid-air. He raised his head and the tiger stared at him from above; He looked down and the abyss was waiting for him; He looked in the middle and suddenly found a ripe strawberry next to the rattan. Now the man has three choices: go up, go down, and hang in the air to eat strawberries. How does he choose? He chose to eat strawberries. This is a Zen story. The mentality of eating strawberries is to live in the present. What you can catch now is that strawberry, so you should eat it. The present connects the past and the future. If you don't pay attention to the present, you will lose the future and be unable to connect with the past. You can only grasp the present. If you blindly regret the past, you will be depressed; Worrying about the future blindly will make you restless; Therefore, you should grasp the present and do the things in the present seriously, and don't let the unhappiness of the past and the worries of the future take away your happiness now like robbers.

To live in the present is to let everyone live in the present and live in the present. If you are unhappy now, you are not living in the present. Of course, living in the present doesn't mean drinking and getting drunk today, but drinking and not getting drunk today won't make the Ming Dynasty sad, and living in a future-oriented process.

Living in the present, you should learn to discover every good thing that happens to you and believe that your life is unfolding in the best way. If you don't live in the present, you will lose the present.

A country girl milked a can of milk, put it on her head, and then began to think: this can of milk can be sold for a few dollars, and you can buy some chickens. When a chicken grows up, it can lay many eggs. When a chicken grows up, it can lay many eggs. The money of these eggs is enough for me to buy a beautiful skirt. I put on my skirt and danced in the palace. My dance attracted the prince, who invited me to dance. This is "if you don't live in the present, you will lose the present".

The fourth method: emotional independence.

Emotional independence means not to base our happiness on other people's behavior. We can only grasp ourselves.

On one occasion, Su Dongpo and Zen master Fo Yin visited the temple and found that Guanyin Bodhisattva in the temple was also holding prayer beads. Su Dongpo asked, "Who does Guanyin rosary miss?" Fo Yin replied: "I still read Guanyin." Su Dongpo asked again, "Why does Guanyin still read Guanyin and miss herself?" Fo Yin's answer is: it is better to ask for help than to ask for help. Therefore, if you want to have a good attitude, you must learn to be emotionally independent.

Some people are always worried about the future. Don't rock the boat. If what you are worried about is beyond your control, let it be. We can only consider what we can do, do our best, and let him go if we can't. Tsinghua University Institute of Economics and Management accepted 50 doctoral students 1 student, and the competition was fierce. Someone said, "What a pity that I didn't pass the exam. What about my future? " I told him, "48 people failed the exam just like you." What you can grasp is to study hard and regard the exam as an experience of life. "

The fifth method: learn to be grateful.

The boss of an enterprise told me that when he recruited college students, the first thing he looked at was whether they were filial to their parents. If you are not filial to your parents, you will not be loyal to the enterprise. When recruiting, he will ask, "What do you do in winter and summer vacations?" The applicant replied, "Play, travel and have a rest." He asked again, "Do you often go back to your hometown?" They said, "Come back often." The boss then asked, "What are you doing?" They said, "Let's have dinner and chat with our classmates." The boss finally asked, "What are you doing at home?" They said, "Sleep and watch TV." The boss is not satisfied with such a candidate: why not mention filial piety to parents? You can help your parents do some work and tell them something about college. To learn to be grateful, it is very important to be grateful to your parents first.

There is Thanksgiving in the west, and everyone will thank others for their help on that day. Many people will send short messages to all those who have helped, supported and cared about themselves, thanking them for their concern. You send a text message, others will reply, and send a text message to someone who needs gratitude. This will have a chain reaction, everyone will have a very happy Thanksgiving, and interpersonal relationships will become more harmonious. Gratitude can make people happy. There is a saying in the west that eating vegetables with love is more fragrant than eating beef with hate.

The sixth law: "heaven" and "hell" are made by heart.

Whether a person is happy or not has nothing to do with wealth, status and power in essence. Happiness is determined by thoughts and mentality. The mind can create "heaven" or "hell". A samurai asked the old Zen master, "Master, what is heaven? What is' hell'? " The old Zen master gave him a contemptuous look and said, "People like you don't deserve to talk to me about Heaven at all." The samurai was angered, swished out his knife, put the knife rest on the old Zen master's neck and said, "Bad old man, I'll kill you!" " "The old Jackson said quietly," This is' hell'. Samurai understands that anger is "hell". So I put the knife back. The old Zen master said calmly, "This is heaven. Samurai understands that being in a good mood is "heaven".

There is also an interesting story: God led a man to hell, and this man found that everyone in hell was bony. They all drink porridge with a special spoon. The handle of the spoon is very long and the head of the spoon is very small. Not only can I not drink it at all, but the porridge I scooped out is also spilled on the ground. Finally, there was no porridge in the bucket, and everyone complained and hated each other. God took this man to heaven again. He found that everyone in heaven was chubby and smiling. They eat the same porridge with the same spoon, but they scoop it out and feed it to others. You feed me, I feed you. As a result, everyone eats porridge.

This means learning to be kind to the people around you. Someone said, "I have many close friends, but they are all in Xinjiang. I am thirsty when I am far away." Some people regard colleagues in the office as opponents, and they are all wrong! It is your colleagues and people around you who can help you in time at critical moments. If you treat others as demons, you will live in "hell"; If you treat others as angels, you will live in heaven. If you can turn others into demons, you are creating "hell"; If you can turn others into angels, you are creating a "paradise". How can we turn others into angels? Learn to be grateful, appreciative, giving and tolerant.

The seventh method: learn to bend if the pressure is too great.

There is such a case: a couple in Canada always quarrel and are on the verge of divorce. So they decided to travel and try to save their marriage. When they came to a north-south valley in Quebec, they were surprised to find that the east slope of the valley was covered with all kinds of trees, while the west slope was only cedar. Why is there such a big difference between east and west slopes? Why can only cedar survive on the west slope? Later, they found that the snow was heavy on the west slope and light on the east slope, while the branches of cedar were softer. If there was more snow, the branches would bend and fall behind, and the branches would recover. Other trees are stiff, and finally the branches will be crushed by snow and the trees will die. They understand that when people are under great pressure, they should also learn to give in. The husband quickly reviewed to his wife: "It's all my fault, I didn't do it right." As soon as the wife listened to her husband's review, she immediately said, "I didn't do enough." So the two made up.

No matter how sharp the knife is, it is useless to break it at the touch. We might as well learn from Tai Chi in China's traditional culture. Learn ancient coins, the outer circle is inside. Of course it's difficult, but we must work hard.

E. The story of living in the present

I'm like a book. If I say myself, the most important thing to live in the present is to make money, followed by eating, sleeping and playing peas, a story that will never end.

F. The benefits of living in the present

It is difficult to reveal the essence of this Buddhist saying by direct explanation. Borrow a story to explain: In "Passing the Lantern", it is said that Hui Yuan monks and disciples were on the road and saw a woman waiting to cross the river. Without a boat or a bridge, the old monk carried her across the river without saying anything. Back at the temple, the young monk couldn't help asking the old monk, "Monks are forbidden to approach women. Why did the master carry that woman? " The old monk said seriously, "I put that woman down long ago." Why are you still carrying it? "

To live in the present is to let go of the burden, to live happily at this moment, and to live in the present is to have no worries and no regrets. Don't make unnecessary imagination and worry about what will happen in the future, so worry-free; I don't think about what happened in the past, and I don't care about gains and losses, so I have no regrets. People can live in the present, have no worries and regrets, and be happy without all the constraints born of the heart, which is a portrayal of Taoist achievers at that time.

Have a nice day, cherish what you have now, live high, and live a wonderful life.

G. Examples of living in the present

1. At the beginning of Emperor Xuandi of the Han Dynasty, Zhao Xia wanted to upgrade the "temple music" offered to the Emperor. Unexpectedly, it was opposed by Dr. Xiahou Sheng Guanglu and Minister Ba Huang.

Fortunately, Ba Huang was locked up with him, and there was someone to talk to when he was lonely.

Ba Huang told me the significance of asking for advice. Xiahou Sheng said with a wry smile, "We have all committed capital crimes and will be executed tomorrow. What's the use of reading the Bible now? "

Ba Huang said, "Confucius has a saying:? If you listen, you will die in the evening. ? People should live in the present, seize the present, learn something, and realize something. Today is happy, why bother about the illusory tomorrow? "

Hearing this, Xiahou Sheng did it one brace up.

2. The doorman of the church wanted to share Jesus' pain, so Jesus promised to let him exchange one day with himself and let the doorman bow down instead of himself, on condition that he could not speak no matter what he saw, and the doorman agreed.

Many people come and go and bow down. After praying, a wealthy businessman forgot his money and left. The doorman couldn't speak, so he didn't stop him. Then a poor man came in, picked up his wallet, thanked Jesus for his gift, and the doorman held back his words.

After a while, a sailor came to pray for peace, and the rich businessman came back to look for the lost wallet, thinking that it was taken by the sailor, and they argued endlessly.

The doorman had no choice but to explain the situation to them, but Jesus said he was not qualified to stand there. Because rich businessmen are not short of money, and the poor can support their families with that money, sailors can miss the sailing time if they continue to argue with rich businessmen, and now they can escape the storm.

No matter what you think of what you have now, it is the best gift of life, because it is impossible to change the past, let alone predict the future, so living in the present is the best choice.

Once upon a time, there was a young monk who was responsible for cleaning the fallen leaves in the temple yard every morning.

Getting up in the morning to sweep the fallen leaves is really a chore, especially in autumn and winter. Every time the wind blows, the leaves are always blown around by the wind. It takes a lot of time to clean the leaves every morning, which makes the young monk have a headache. So the next day he got up early and shook the trees in the yard hard to clean up the fallen leaves today and tomorrow.

The next day, the young monk looked into the yard and was dumbfounded. As before, leaves are everywhere in the yard.

The little monk finally realized that there are many things in the world that cannot be advanced. Only living in the present is the truest attitude towards life.

4. There are promising young people who are eager for quick success and instant benefit. God gave him a clock. As long as he moves the pointer, time can advance quickly. The young man is very happy. He wants to be a supervisor and then a manager. Later, he wanted to own his own company, a beautiful wife and a comfortable house. ...

The young man kept turning the hour hand, and soon got everything he wanted, but suddenly found that his life had come to an end. He regretted it, but he could never go back.

Life needs results, but the process is also very important. Life is a hundred years, so don't be too hasty. You should learn to understand life and feel the process of life flow. This is living in the present.

One day, an active monk came to visit the Buddhist monk Dazhu Huihai and asked him how to study hard.

He asked Master Huihai, "Monk, do you study hard, too?"

The Zen master replied, "Study hard!"

Take the initiative to ask: "How to study hard?"

The Zen master replied, "Eat when you are hungry and sleep when you are sleepy."

Asked voluntarily, puzzled: "If this is hard work, isn't everyone as hard as Zen master?"

The Zen master said, "Of course not!"

Take the initiative to ask again: "How is it different? Don't they all eat and sleep? "

The Zen master said: "most people can't eat well, and they have all kinds of ideas;" I can't sleep well, and I have a lot of delusions. I'm definitely not like them. "

This Zen story points out the importance of grasping the present. In real life, many people don't live in the present and always waste their time and energy on this matter.
