1. Click Start-Run (enter DOS system)-Enter DiskPart, press enter, and start DiskPart program.
2. enter list disk and press enter. A list of disks installed in the computer will be displayed, that is, 0, 1, 2 ... Here, you can see the number of disks and the capacity of each hard disk. The above example shows that there are three hard disks 0, 1, 2.
3. Enter select disk n, and then press Enter, where n refers to the number of the disk to be processed. Mobile hard disks are usually displayed in the last number, as shown in the above example, and you can also see whether the capacity of the disks is consistent.
4. Enter clean all, that is, reset (delete) all original partitions and signatures of the mobile hard disk. At this time, it will take some time, which is directly proportional to the capacity of the mobile hard disk and the speed of the computer. The bigger the hard disk, the longer it takes. You can do other things, or you can sit next to the computer, take out your mobile phone and get on wifi. The cleanup doesn't end until the diskpart prompt appears.
5. Enter exit to close DiskPart.
6. Right-click the computer and select Manage. The system initializes the mobile hard disk, and then enters the disk management. You will see a new disk, which is an empty mobile hard disk. Right-click the disk area and partition and format it according to your own needs. After formatting, close the disk management window. You can use this mobile hard disk to store data now.
