1978 On August 23rd, Kobe Bryant was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest and only son of former NBA players and former LA Sparks coaches Joe Bryant and Pamela Cox Bryant. Kobe has two sisters-Celia and Shaya.
