Requirements for the storage of psychotropic drugs of Category II: An operating enterprise shall set up an independent special warehouse or special counter in the drug warehouse to store psychotropic drugs of Category II, and set up special account books to be managed by special personnel. The storage period of special account books shall not be less than 5 years from the date of expiration of the validity period of drugs.
The acceptance of protein assimilation preparations and peptide hormones should be jointly accepted by two people. After acceptance, it can be stored in a special drug warehouse with double locks. Two people should check and sign the medicine distribution. Establish special account books for drugs and implement special management. The registration records of acceptance, inspection, storage, sale and warehousing of protein assimilation preparations and peptide hormones shall be kept for more than 2 years after the validity period. For protein assimilation preparations and peptide hormone drugs, it is necessary to establish drug maintenance files, requiring maintenance personnel to check the storage environment, drug quality and daily periodic maintenance of such drugs. When protein assimilation preparations and peptide hormones are consigned and transported by themselves, safety measures should be taken to prevent them from being stolen, robbed or lost during transportation. Toxic drugs must be stored in special warehouses or counters, locked and kept by special personnel. There should be safety measures such as alarms and monitors in the warehouse, and the management system of double locks for two persons should be strictly implemented. The acceptance, receiving and dispatching of toxic drugs should adhere to the system of double opening boxes and double receiving and dispatching, and sign and seal the documents together. The provisions and requirements of toxic drugs are the same as those of narcotic drugs in establishing income and expenditure accounts, regularly counting and destroying toxic drugs that are not available for medical use.
