Liu Shiwei

[Qing] The courtesy name is Xinwu, the name is Dingyu, and he was born in Liangshan (now Liangping, Sichuan). In the 10th year of Qianlong's reign (1745), he became a Jinshi and became a general in Ningwuguan. Poetry, calligraphy, and finger painting are all viewed from the right.

Be unruly and talented. In the tenth year of Qianlong's reign (1745), he became a Jinshi. In the thirteenth year of Qianlong's reign (1748), Admiral Yue Zhongqi sent troops to Jinchuan. He was a great official and asked for his services, and made many military exploits. Replenished the Yingdu Division in Xiangcheng, Henan Province, and moved to Ningwuguan, Shanxi Province to serve as general. After returning home, he was a military commander who was skilled in Liuren, astrology, medicine and divination, and his poems and calligraphy were all worth reading. When coming and going among ministers, they often treat them with strange eyes. He later died at home.

He is the author of two volumes of "The Facts of Jinchuan's Conscription to the Army", with a preface by Cao Xiuxian, the Minister of Public Affairs. He wrote ten volumes of "The Burning Turtle". There is a biography in "Sichuan General Chronicle".
