After taking a group photo, they immediately enjoyed a hamburger for lunch, and then played golf and nine holes with the famous Japanese golfer Hideki Matsuyama. Trump uploaded a clip of them playing golf and wrote: "Playing golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Hideki Matsuyama, two great people." Trump and Shinzo Abe each signed a hat that read "Make the (US-Japan) alliance stronger".
Abe then uploaded photos of eating hamburgers with Trump on social network Facebook, along with their own translators. Before landing on Air Force One, Trump praised Hideki Matsuyama as the greatest golfer in Japanese history and called him an excellent athlete. He also described Hideki Matsuyama as good at playing long balls, but he did not forget to praise his skills.
