I. Notes on Visa Application
1. China citizens with diplomatic and official passports can stay in Malaysia for 30 days without a visa, while China citizens with official and ordinary passports need to complete their visas before going to Malaysia.
2. China citizens who want to go to Malaysia must complete their visas outside Malaysia in advance and can only enter the country at the airport.
3. China tourists can apply for visas on arrival when they enter through Johor Bahru Port and Kuala Lumpur Airport.
4. A tour group from China can apply for a group visa at the port, provided that Ma Reception Travel Agency has the qualification authorized by the General Administration of Immigration and has reported to the group. Passengers arriving in Tioman Island, Pahang via a third country can apply for a visa on arrival if they can produce a valid return ticket.
5. Passengers who want to enter Malaysia must hold valid passports or recognized travel documents, with a validity period of not less than 6 months and at least 1 blank visa page.
6. The types of visas in Malaysia are mainly divided into:
1) Ordinary visa: issued to foreign citizens who travel to Malaysia, visit relatives and friends and engage in business activities. Ordinary visas can't be extended, but if you can't return to China in time due to health reasons or flight problems, you can apply for an extension at the Immigration Bureau with the certificates issued by the relevant hospitals and airlines.

Second, the visa application process
1. The visa applicant decides the purpose and itinerary of going to Malaysia.
2. Visit the Malaysian Embassy in China in official website for visa application information and list of required materials.
3. Preparation materials (the visa application form can be downloaded from the website of www.imi.gov.my/ Immigration Bureau or obtained from embassies and consulates in China).
4. Go through the visa formalities at Ma embassies and consulates in China Visa Office and pay the visa fee.
5. Waiting for the embassy and consulate to review.
6. After obtaining a visa, you should carefully check whether all the information on the visa is correct, especially whether the start and end time of the validity period of the visa and the number of days of stay are consistent with the application, and whether the personal information such as the name on the visa is spelled correctly. If you find something wrong, you should contact the visa office of the embassy or consulate in time.
