2. 1 product design data management
Based on PDM platform, the design data management of engine EBOM, three-dimensional digital model and design change is realized. EBOM replaces the traditional design catalogue, with clear hierarchy and more accurate data; Two-dimensional electronic drawings based on NX three-dimensional master model replace manual design drawings, and the process directly uses the information of design parts for blank and mold design, process design, tooling design, numerical control machining, analysis and simulation, which greatly speeds up the process preparation.
.2 process BOM reconstruction
In manufacturing industry, BOM, as the carrier of core basic data, is an important content of digital product definition and a bridge connecting product engineering design and enterprise production management. With BOM, the data and change information of various departments can be transmitted, and the overall product data information can be unified. Process BOM(PBOM) is the BOM in the product process planning stage, and it is the process planning department that formulates process plan, process flow information and material quota information according to the data of e BOM. As shown in Figure 2, PBOM mainly describes the assembly sequence, process flow and material quota information of products, reflects the manufacturing method and assembly sequence of parts, assemblies and final products, and reflects the reasonable flow and disappearance process of materials between production workshops. PBOM is particularly important for complex large-scale systems (such as aerospace products), which is a prerequisite for organizing product process design and product production.
Structured process design
The enterprise has established a manufacturing process management (MPM) system based on a unified PDM platform, which realizes the seamless integration of PDM and CAPP, and manages the design and process data in a unified database. Structured computer-aided process design is realized in mechanical processing technology and thermal process management. As shown in Figure 3, the inheritance of product design information and the output of process design information are realized through structured process routes. In the aspect of assembly process management, visual assembly process design management is realized. As shown in Figure 4, the visual assembly process makes full use of the results of process BOM reconstruction, and explains the process with standard process description and three-dimensional view, which enhances the on-site guidance of the process.
Structured process data management can significantly improve the efficiency and quality of process planning and shorten the production preparation cycle; Electronic approval replaces cross-departmental manual signing, network office, and improves the efficiency of process approval; The unified database management of process data greatly improves the security of enterprise data assets, and also creates conditions for the parallelization of process tools and main and auxiliary processes. The generated electronic process card can help enterprises move towards the goal of paperless production.
2.4 system integration
The key of enterprise informatization is system integration. Based on the intermediate interface table mode, the data integration between PDM and ERP software /MES system is realized. Through system integration, the data transmission of process BOM and engineering change information to ERP and MES system is realized, and the conversion from design data to production data is completed. PDM system has become the basic data source of enterprise management and production operation, which avoids repeated data entry, ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of data and the controllability of changes, and provides strong support for enterprise production operation.
3 Conclusion
As one of the important supporting platforms of enterprise informatization, PDM can meet the business needs of enterprises in product design, process design, tooling design and BOM management, improve the efficiency and quality of product development process preparation, and shorten the product development cycle.
