First, the guest account is "customer-oriented"
As we all know, by default, guest accounts have no right to create administrator accounts. However, there is just such a way, through a few simple steps, to make it the "boss" and seize the highest authority of the system. This general principle is also very simple. Because Windows XP automatically runs a series of scripts before logging in, we can use group policy to create a script to create a new administrator account under the GUEST account, so that the system can execute it first.
Step 1: Open Notepad and enter the following command:
Netizen 123456 /add
Network Local Group Administrator User/Add
Command explanation: netfriends here is the account name of the system administrator we want to create, and 123456 is its password, which is saved as a batch file, such as "netfriends.bat".
Step 2: execute the gpedit.msc command in the run column, open the group policy, expand the script (startup/shutdown) option under Computer Configuration → "Windows Settings", double-click the startup option in the right window, click the Add button in the opened startup properties dialog box, and click Browse in the pop-up dialog box. Click OK to return to the startup properties dialog box (as shown in figure 1), and then click OK to close the Group Policy window.
Step 3: After restarting the system, Windows XP will automatically create a system administrator account named netfriends. The above methods have been tested in Windows 2000 service, Windows XP SP 1 and SP2. Friends who have forgotten their passwords may wish to have a try.
One thing to note when using this method is that if the system disk format is NTFS, the GUEST account cannot modify the corresponding options in the group policy. Second, the tool software "reset password"
Although the above method is simple, many friends may have disabled the Guest account for security reasons, so they can only find the administrator account from another way. Windows Key, a small software, can reset the password of an account in the system, which means you can log in to the system with an empty password and get back the "key" of the system in disguise.
Step 1: Download the software from/demos/winked.exe, and install and run the software on other computers. Windows Key provides three modes: making recovery floppy disk, recovery CD and boot flash disk. Because floppy drive is a "rare thing" now, a USB flash drive is used to operate it here.
Click the "U disk" button in the main window of the software, insert the prepared blank U disk, and then put it into the Windows XP installation CD (TXTSETUP is required). SIF file), and then click Next to start making bootable USB flash drives. After completion, Windows Key will add the files needed to start the system and several files needed for password recovery to the USB flash drive.
Step 2: After setting the USB flash drive in the BIOS, use the USB flash drive to boot the system, and the USB flash drive will automatically load the Windows Key driver. Wait a moment, and the system will automatically enter the working environment of Windows Key. At this point, select the serial number of the partition where the system password to be reset is located, and all account names in the system will be listed. Enter the serial number corresponding to the account name whose password is to be reset, and "Set password as'12345'" will pop up? (Yes/No) "(Figure 2). Enter "y" according to the prompt, and the password of this account will be reset to 12345 soon.
Now restart the system, enter the reset password and log in, and you will find that the control of the system is in your own hands again.
