The nicene creed was formulated at the first church meeting in 325 AD. At that time, Arioux (256 ~ 336) and his theory caused a split in the church. He argues that the son is made by the father, so it is essentially different from the father. This theory was condemned as heresy by Bishop Alexander, but later it was because of his eloquence and political talent that he won the support of the area outside Amon, thus causing the opposition between the two factions. The Roman emperor Constantine was afraid of the division of the church, so he held a meeting in Nicaea in 325, hoping to gain theological knowledge. Parliament * * * has 3 18 bishops, except a few from western churches, the rest are representatives of Greek-speaking eastern churches, which are divided into Arrhenius in Antioch, Orthodox in Alexandria and centrist led by historian Eusebius. 260 ~ 340. When Eusebius (a non-historian), the representative of Arrhenius, put forward his belief argument, he was immediately strongly denied and classified as a heresy. So under the leadership of the emperor's special envoy Hosiusof Cordova, the nicene creed was completed and accepted by all bishops. This letter was sent to all parts of the empire and was the first authoritative and universal confession of faith.
The Nicaean creed obviously opposes Arioux's theology: the son is "the true God from the true God", although he was born "from the father" and "not created"; Moreover, the son "comes from the father's ontology" and "is the same as the father's ontology", which are all put forward in view of Arrhenius' mistakes.
This creed is not exactly the same as the nicene creed used by the church today. The latter is longer than the former and does not contain some important terms in the nicene creed. Why did it evolve like this? Then no one knows!
