First, open the back cover of the set-top box and insert the SIM card of the mobile phone into the card slot of the chassis (local SIM card is recommended). The SIM card is used to locate the receiver, so the SIM card must be enabled with GPS function.

Open the set-top box, enter the "System Settings" interface, and select "Restore Factory Settings". The default password is generally "9999".

After the receiver is restored to factory settings, the system will automatically restart and search for TV programs. After the program search is completed, find a local TV card. Of course, you can receive TV programs and plug them into the set-top box. At this point, the screen will display "Abnormal Position Locking Module".

Restart the set-top box, then insert the original TV card into the receiver, restart the equipment again, press "F4" on the remote control to scan the base station after scanning, and then return.

Finally, confirm whether the area code is correct. If it is not correct, we can modify it in System Settings-Area Code.
Finally, restart the machine, and then the set-top box will automatically search for TV programs and remove the positioning.
I. Abnormal position locking module 1

Cause analysis:
The set-top box cannot detect the positioning module due to abnormal contact between the positioning module and the motherboard, or damage to the power board/positioning module/motherboard.

Solution: The earlier version of the set-top box, positioning module and motherboard were not integrated. Plug it in again to solve the "position locking module 1 abnormality" caused by poor contact.
2. Abnormal position locking module 2

Cause analysis:
Exception 2 in the location locking module indicates that signature verification failed. Simply put, the seed information is buried incorrectly or lost, and the positioning module does not match the motherboard.

Solution:
"Abnormal Position Locking Module 2" appears on the TV screen played by Tiger Tiger Set-top Box, so the user can't repair it by himself and needs to return it to the manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel.
3. Abnormal position locking module 3

Cause analysis:
There are two specific reasons: one is that users or vendors mistakenly insert smart cards of another set-top box into the set-top box;
In another case, the card is not moving, and the work number holder operates to replace the smart card in the user management system of the household registration, which leads to the inconsistency between the set-top box and the existing smart card, resulting in "abnormal position locking module 3".

Solution:
Let the seller or the work number holder who opens an account for this machine inquire whether the card number of the smart card bound to the set-top box is consistent with the card number of the smart card actually inserted into the set-top box in the user management system, and then match the smart card to which it belongs.
4. Abnormal position locking module 4

Cause analysis:
The module upgrade failed, the module itself was abnormal, and the module reset circuit was abnormal, resulting in "position locking module abnormality 4".

Solution:
1. module upgrade failed. As long as the module is not hung up and can be turned on, the set-top box will force the module to be upgraded, and don't turn it off halfway until the upgrade is completed.
2. If the module hangs or the module itself is abnormal, it will be returned to the factory for maintenance;
3. The abnormal reset circuit will also cause module abnormality in the upgrade process;
4. You can check related circuits;
5. Unable to search the base station information, please contact the installation and maintenance personnel or customer service center;
