Save food, cherish life
October 16th is World Food Day. On this meaningful day, the Propaganda Department of the School of Foreign Languages ??teamed up with the Pudong New Area Food Department to hold the event at the East Canteen Bridge A publicity campaign with the theme of saving food and loving food was held.
Cherishing food is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. Since ancient times, there have been poems and essays about "every grain is hard-earned", but now many of our students do not cherish the hard-won food and waste it. Found everywhere. On World Food Day, our classmates from the Publicity Department of the School of Foreign Languages ??used their own cameras to record the recent phenomenon of food waste in the school cafeteria, and made it into an exhibition board, so that each of our classmates can pay attention to this issue that has been ignored by us. Pay attention to it and awaken our awareness of saving food and loving food. In order to cooperate with the publicity, the staff of the Pudong New Area Grain Department also brought their own carefully prepared promotional posters, exhibition boards, signature boards, speeches, etc. The content includes data on food supply and trade flows in the world today, our country's food shortage, and our country's understanding of food and agriculture since ancient times, etc. In front of the signature board that cherished food, many students also signed their names and made a commitment to save food. Their tireless efforts are just to make us cherish every grain of life energy around us that has been cultivated with sweat and hard work.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those food-saving publicity workers and students from the Propaganda Department for their efforts. All we can do is to use our own practical actions to sign the signature version of the food-saving campaign. Sign your name, not just on the paper, but also in your heart so that you can remember it.
