The 223 World Table Tennis Championships is the 57th World Table Tennis Championships, and the final stage of this tournament was held in Durban International Convention Center, South Africa from May 2 to 28, 223. This is the second time that the World Table Tennis Championships have entered Africa since it was held in Cairo, Egypt in 1939.
In the mixed doubles final, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha defeated Japanese team Zhang Benzhi and/or Hayata Hina 3- to achieve two consecutive championships in the World Table Tennis Championships. In the men's doubles final, Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin beat South Korean team Zhang Yuzhen/Lin Zhongxun 3- to win the men's doubles championship for the first time. In the women's doubles final, Chen Meng/Wang Yidi beat South Korean team Tian Zhixi/Shen Yubin 3- to win the championship.
