1. The general principle is: business casual wear. Whether participating in team or league activities, players are required to wear business casual clothes. Everyone has to dress like a white-collar worker except the stadium, which makes it difficult for many street players like Iverson to accept.
Business casual wear specifically includes:
(1). Long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirts or sweaters with collars or lapels.
(2) Casual pants, khaki pants or jeans.
(3). Suitable shoes and socks, or other decent shoes, but don't wear sneakers, sandals and other shoes that make noise when walking.
Note: The activities of teams and leagues mainly refer to the public activities that players participate in on behalf of teams and leagues. These activities include meeting fans, business activities with business partners, media interviews and participation in third-party activities. Players get off before the game and enter the locker room. After the game, the activities from the locker room to the bus are also public occasions to represent the team and the league.
2. There are exceptions to the clothing of 2.NBA players:
(1). Players sitting on the bench or in the stands should wear sports coats, sports shoes and socks. (It's basically what the players wear before the dress code. )
(2) When players leave the stadium, they should wear business casual clothes or warm-up clothes configured by the team.
(3) When attending some special activities, you don't need to wear business casual clothes, for example, when players take part in physical examination.
3. Clothes that can't appear: (This is the key point)
The following clothes are not allowed to appear in any activities of the team at any time.
(1). Sleeveless shirt
(2). Shorts
(3) T-shirts and sportswear (excluding team uniforms and sportswear issued by teams)
(4) Players are not allowed to wear hats when they are on the bench or in the stands, being interviewed by the media or participating in team or league activities (except when attending the joining ceremony, they can wear hats when they are recognized by the team).
(5) Necklaces are not allowed, and there can be no other decorations on players' clothes.
(6) Don't wear sunglasses indoors.
(7). You can't wear headphones except in team cars, planes and players' locker rooms (many players used to wear headphones as an excuse to ignore the fans' signature requirements, but now it seems that it is not enough)
For players who violate the dress code, the league will impose a fine of less than 500 thousand (the upper limit is equivalent to the annual salary of a basic salary player! ), in front of the big stick of the league, the players have to bear it. However, many players who are at the forefront of fashion have also invented their own way of wearing. For example, Iverson specially customized hip-hop business clothes and formal trench coats. This dress, coupled with a LV limited handbag, will have the same face. This is called having policies at the top and countermeasures at the bottom. But then again, ironically, most NBA stars from poor backgrounds now want to make a makeover and give up wearing hip-hop from childhood to adulthood in order to gain the recognition of the upper class.
