In fact, as early as October 2015, the Shanghai Arbitration Tribunal recognized the legal validity of our platform’s electronic contract, which was the first electronic contract case in China. Since then, courts and arbitration institutions in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chongqing, Tianjin and other places have also recognized the legal validity of electronic contracts.

The following is an example of one of the electronic contract cases to help everyone better understand why electronic contracts can be recognized by courts and arbitration institutions.

On April 20, 2016, Company A and Travel Agency B reached a cooperation. Company A was responsible for attracting tourists for Travel Agency B’s travel products and handed them over to Travel Agency B for reception. On the same day, both parties signed an electronic contract through our platform.

Later, due to the breach of contract by Travel Agency B, a certain itinerary that had been confirmed was forced to be canceled, and Company A received a large number of complaints from tourists. Company A refunded the tourists' money and paid more than 40,000 yuan in compensation.

Soon after, Company A filed a complaint against Travel Agency B to the court.

Company A stated that the contract involved in this case was formed through electronic signatures, and the authenticity of the electronic signatures was verified by our platform.

Subsequently, Company A applied for a document signing authenticity certification report from our platform and submitted the report to the court.

Finally, after trial, the court made a judgment on this case on May 14, 2018, and determined that the travel electronic contract signed on our platform was established and valid in accordance with the law.

The court ruled: “This court believes that: the tourist entrustment and reception contract submitted by the plaintiff, the legal document signing authenticity certificate report, the product cancellation form, the complaint confirmation form, the payment receipt, the entrustment and reception contract and the notarization " (Excerpted from the Civil Judgment of Suzhou Industrial Park People's Court)

The electronic contracts of our platform have been recognized by courts and arbitration institutions many times, becoming an electronic contract platform with rich precedents in the industry.
