Wonderful Art - Painting
I once saw this sentence - "Wonderful music is endlessly memorable; outstanding paintings are endlessly fascinating." Yes, art has a magical charm that attracts everyone who is interested in it.
Everyone knows that art has many forms of expression, and painting is one of them. And I'm a fan of it.
When I was young, I seemed to have an indissoluble bond with painting. When I was in first grade, besides sports, I loved painting the most. I could do what I loved: painting. Every time the teacher assigns homework, I will try my best to complete it. Even if I lose some time to play, I am willing to do so. However, the reply every time was "Excellent". This shocked and delighted my heart greatly. Perhaps, it was at that time that the seeds of art were planted in my heart, and my painting talent and potential were discovered.
Since then, I have become more and more fond of painting and often spend some time and energy to study, which has gradually improved my painting skills. Until one time, my hard work gave me the joy of harvest, which further inspired my motivation for painting.
It was a Friday evening, and I suddenly received a notice from the teacher that a reading poster was to be published on 2-inch paper. I gladly accepted the task. I was so excited at the thought of being able to showcase my talent. At the weekend, after I finished my homework, I took out the paper and spread it on the table. I couldn't help but be stunned. 2 kilo paper is equivalent to the size of four 8 kilo paper! The pure white drawing paper almost takes up the entire table. I was about to put away the drawing paper, but the desire to paint made me pick up the brush again. I thought about it for a while, then started writing and dancing on the paper. After a while, the outline of the Great Wall appeared on the empty drawing paper. I revised it a bit, then took out the colored pens and started coloring. Now I was painting with fine brushwork, and now I was painting in large areas. It was a joy to paint, and the majestic appearance of the Great Wall was gradually revealed in my brushwork.
Time passed by minute by minute, and before I knew it, it was already evening. My mother called me to eat, so I reluctantly put down my brush and prepared to go to eat. But my legs were already numb and so sore that I couldn't stand up. When I looked at the painting, I saw that more than half of it was still unfinished. I really wanted to give up, but my perseverance reminded me to persist. Later, my mother put the food on my desk, and I sat down and continued painting...
I devoted a whole day to the creation of this painting, but I still didn't finish it. At night, I worked hard alone until about 12:30 at night, and I was still a little short of finishing. But at this time, I was already drowsy, my eyelids seemed to weigh a thousand pounds, and they kept "fighting" up and down. If you really can't do it anymore, just close your eyes and squint for a while, then get up and do it again. My mother had already fallen asleep beside me, and I had to continue painting for this unfinished painting.
Finally, when the big clock dinged 1:00, I finally completed the painting. At this time I could no longer stand. I dragged my tired body, tidied up hastily, got on the bed, and fell asleep.
The next day, I handed the painting to the school, and almost all the teachers were shocked. I also won the first prize as I wished. At this time, a relieved smile appeared on my tired face...
This incident has long passed, but I still remember it fresh. Because this is the time I have devoted the most energy and time to painting. This is also a test of my painting skills. After that, I won prizes in county and city competitions again and again, and gained improvement, fun and inspiration from painting again and again. I will always cherish this art. It has become part of my soul.
