If you apply for a U shield, you need to use the U shield to sign when doing transactions such as transfer and remittance, B2C and online payment. When you need to use it, you will be prompted to insert the U shield and enter the U shield password.

The U-Shield password can support letters or numbers, and the password length must be greater than or equal to 6 digits, with a maximum of 8 digits. The U-Shield password can be in the form of numbers or letters, or a combination of the two.

If the certificate information is downloaded from the counter and has not been changed, the initial password is 12345678.

If you can't confirm the U-Shield password or the U-Shield is locked because you entered the wrong password for six times, please bring your valid ID card, U-Shield and online banking registration card to the local designated outlet where you open an account to reset the U-Shield password for free.

The installation and use of the U shield certificate are as follows:

1. System upgrade: If you are using personal online banking for the first time on this computer, please log in to www.icbc.com.cn, the portal of China Industrial and Commercial Bank, and click "Install" under "Personal online banking login". After entering the next page, download and install the "U Shield" driver. If you want to install by CD, please run the "U Shield" CD and select the "System Upgrade" function on the main installation page, and the system will automatically detect and prompt you to install the patch. After installing the patch, please select the "Driver Installation" function to install the corresponding "U Shield" driver.

2. Download and install: After applying for U shield, you can entrust the counter agent to download the data to U shield. You can also log in to ICBC's personal online banking and enter "Customer Service"->; "u shield management"->; "U shield self-service download" completes the download of certificate information. Please make sure that "U Shield" is connected to the USB interface of the computer before downloading. If the download is unsuccessful, please bring your valid ID, U shield, online banking registration card or registration account to the designated counter in the account opening area.

3. Use: After downloading, when you need to use the "U Shield", just plug it into the USB interface of the computer and you can use it normally.

After the U-Shield certificate is installed, when you use online banking for payment transactions such as external transfer, B2C shopping and payment, our system will automatically prompt you to insert the U-Shield certificate for signature transactions, and you only need to follow the system prompts.
