How to notarize the translation of transcripts?
1. ID card, household registration book and experience certificate issued by the personnel department of the file storage unit.
2. The original transcripts that the parties need to notarize.
3. Original graduation certificate, suspension certificate, completion certificate and school certificate.
Note: If you provide your own translated transcripts, the notary office will charge an audit fee.
Does the translation of transcripts need notarization?
The transcript does not need to be notarized.
Whether notarization is necessary depends on the policy of the applicant institution or national embassy or consulate. The general notary office will recognize the transcripts translated by the school, and only need to issue a notarial certificate that is "consistent with the original". If the school does not provide transcripts in Chinese and English, the notary office will translate them by itself or entrust a translation company to translate them.
In the application stage of studying abroad, if the school does not provide translation of transcripts, the applicant can find a regular translation company to translate transcripts (the translation company will affix the official seal of the company and the special seal for translation), affix the seal of the school, and submit the originals and translations.
Note: 1. According to statistics, most colleges and universities in the United States and Canada do not need to provide notarized transcripts. Please carefully study the enrollment materials of the colleges you apply for.
2. Transcripts translated by students themselves can be verified with the seal of the translation company (with the official seal of the translation company and the special seal for translation), and the cost is 50-80 yuan.
