Nanchang International Sports Center is a major new sports venue planned by Nanchang City to host the 2011 Seventh National Urban Games. The Nanchang International Sports Center project is located in Honggutan New District, adjacent to the Ganjiang River in the east, Fenghe South Avenue in the west, and the elevated lead of Shengmi Bridge in the north. The planned land area is 1,045 acres.
Including a 60,000-person central stadium, a 10,000-person gymnasium, a swimming and diving hall, a comprehensive competition training hall, a tennis center and a comprehensive service center.
It will also be the future home stadium of Nanchang Hengyuan Football Club of the Chinese Super League.
