If the two sides reach a consensus and agree on a specific date of repayment, then within two years after the deadline, the IOUs are all within the legal and effective statute of limitations. After more than 2 years, the debtor will enjoy the right of prescription defense and need not pay off the debt.
If there is no specific date of repayment, it shall be a legal and effective statute of limitations within 2 years from the date of issuing bonds.
