The latest policy of Austria's return to China
In order to reduce the cross-border spread of the epidemic, according to the requirements of relevant departments in China, Chinese and foreign travelers flying from Austria to China and transiting through Austria from November 6, 22 (including that day) must apply to our library for a green health code with "HS" logo with a negative certificate of COVID-19 nucleic acid test (polymerase chain reaction test and serum-specific IgM antibody test (hereinafter referred to as negative certificate of serum IgM antibody test) (applicable to China citizens). The specific requirements are hereby notified as follows:
1. Testing requirements
(1) Passengers departing from Austria and flying directly to China should complete sampling and testing of nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody at Austrian testing institutions 48 hours before boarding, and apply to the Chinese Embassy in Austria for a green health code or a health statement with "HS" logo with two negative test certificates.
(2) Passengers departing from Austria and transiting through a third country in China should undergo nucleic acid detection and serum IgM antibody detection in Austria and transit countries (countries where direct flights to China take off).
For the first test, samples of nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody should be taken from Austrian testing institutions within 48 hours before boarding the plane, and two negative test certificates should be presented to the Chinese Embassy in Austria to apply for a green health code or health statement with "HS" logo.
If the second test is conducted in a transit country (the country where the direct flight to China takes off), the nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody should be sampled and tested in a testing institution designated or recognized by the local embassy or consulate of China within 48 hours before boarding the plane, and two negative test certificates should be presented to the local embassy or consulate of China to apply for a green health code or a health statement with "HS" logo.
(3) Passengers departing from a third country and transiting through Austria for China should complete the sampling and testing of nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody in Austrian testing institutions 48 hours before boarding the plane, and apply for a green health code or a health statement with "HS" logo to the Chinese Embassy in Austria with two negative test certificates.
please note that the validity of nucleic acid detection and serum IgM antibody detection will start from the sampling time, not from the time when the report is issued, and will be valid within 48 hours. Airlines that fly directly to China will check and release passengers according to the green health code or health statement with "HS" sign issued by our library.
II. Testing institutions
(1 nucleic acid testing institutions
The Chinese Embassy in Austria does not designate nucleic acid testing institutions for the time being, but accepts all reports issued by testing institutions recognized by the Austrian Ministry of Health, the Federal Chamber of Commerce or other government agencies (list of testing institutions provided by the Austrian Ministry of Health: for review).
(2) Foreign citizens apply for health declaration.
after obtaining the negative certificate of nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test, foreign citizens will send the valid passport information page, negative certificate, scanned health statement signed by the applicant (Annex 2 and your flight schedule) to the designated mailbox of our library, ((pcrtest.aut@gmail.com. After the examination and approval, the staff will scan the stamped health statement and return it to the applicant, who will print it and carry it. Please take the flight within the validity period of the health declaration, and cooperate with the airline to check when you take the flight.
The Chinese Embassy in Austria attaches great importance to safeguarding the rights and interests of visitors to China, and will, as always, examine and submit the application materials in a timely manner, examine and issue the green health code and health statement marked with "HS" in strict accordance with regulations (including weekends and holidays, and make every effort to ensure the smooth travel of visitors to China.
Fourth, a warm reminder
The Chinese Embassy in Austria reminds passengers in China:
(1 Please read this notice carefully and follow it. If you can't get the negative results of nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test as required, and you can't hold the green health code or health statement with "HS" logo before boarding the plane, it means that you don't meet the boarding conditions for the time being and need to reschedule or adjust the itinerary reasonably. Please understand and cooperate.
(2 Passengers departing from Austria and flying directly to China, please note that there are currently two flights to China in Austria, namely Austrian Airlines OS75, which flies directly to Shanghai every Friday, and Air China CA842, which flies directly to Beijing every Saturday. According to the latest regulations, only Austrian citizens and citizens in China are allowed to fly directly to Beijing. If you take Air China, please upload your valid residence certificate in Austria together with your double negative certificate. Our library staff will strictly control it. If this condition is not met, even if there is a valid nucleic acid test certificate and a negative serum IgM antibody test certificate, a green health code or health statement marked with "HS" will not be issued.
(3 Passengers departing from Austria and transiting through a third country in China, please pay attention. Please carefully choose the route of transit through China, and carefully know the start time of nucleic acid testing and serum IgM antibody testing in COVID-19, the list of designated or recognized testing institutions and the application method of double negative certificate in advance. Please pay close attention to the Department of Otolaryngology
(4) Passengers departing from a third country and transferring to China via Austria should note that the transfer area of Vienna Airport does not have the ability to detect nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody at present. Try to avoid transit in Austria. Passengers from non-Schengen countries who come to Austria for transit must obtain entry visas in advance, so as to avoid being unable to enter Austria, being unable to be detected, and being unable to transit, resulting in a long stay and increasing the risk of infection.
(5) Passengers flying in China must truthfully fill in their personal information, and provide true and effective negative proof of nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test. If you find that you deliberately conceal your illness, provide false information, forge and tamper with negative certificates, etc. The legal responsibilities of relevant personnel will be seriously investigated according to law.
(6 The green health code or health statement marked with "HS" is only used for boarding, and cannot be used as an entry certificate. It is suggested that passengers going to China should bring negative proof of nucleic acid test and serum IgM antibody test for future reference.
(VII) In view of the obvious rebound of the epidemic situation in COVID-19, Austria recently, the Embassy strongly advises visitors to China to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention laws and regulations of China and Austria, take preventive measures before departure, try to avoid unnecessary travel, participate in group gathering activities, and have dinner in crowded places to avoid cross-infection. If you really need to go out, wear a mask, cover your mouth and nose, keep a distance from others, and wash your hands and disinfect when you get home. If you feel unwell, you should seek medical advice in time and adjust your trip to China according to your physical condition.
(8) If you can't take a direct flight or a connecting flight to China in Austria, resulting in detention and other consequences, please call the consular protection number of the embassy in time.
