1998, Michael starred in the movie Armageddon. 1999, he starred in the movie Green Mile, which made his performance a breakthrough.
Michael's childhood wish was to play football instead of performing arts, but his idea was opposed by his mother because she was worried that he would get hurt. So he turned his goal to artistic performance and dreamed of becoming a famous actor. After graduating from high school, Michael attended Kankaki Community College. After graduating from college, he worked for the National Gas Company in Chicago, digging trenches for the company. Shortly thereafter, Michael came to Hollywood and began to play some small roles in movies, and also worked as a bodyguard. His employers include will smith, martin lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Kul J and the notorious B I G.
This film is another prison film by Delaban, the director of Stimulation 1995, but this time the starring role was changed to Tom Hanks, who was at the peak at that time. Although the film did not continue the word-of-mouth myth of 1995, it did well and won some praise.
In this film with "miracle" as the main content, miracle is not over-deified, but more shows kindness and compassion. Miracles appear because of kindness and compassion, and disappear because the world lacks such kindness and compassion. Caffe, a black giant like the legendary Lux, doesn't know where he comes from or why he has the power of miracles, but the hero played by Tom Hanks, although he doesn't have the power of miracles, is the owner of human kindness and compassion, and also the lucky one who is cared for by miracles.
This movie is basically a "main theme" movie, advocating love and goodness and punishing hate and malice. Although the theme is too clear and the thinking is too correct, firstly, the miracle part is very attractive, and secondly, the theme of prison death penalty is too unusual (at least, I have only heard of the electric chair death penalty before, but I didn't know there are such strange details), so the whole movie is still very good-looking. The plot of more than two hours is not long at all, and several miracle scenes can leave a deep impression on people, which is also a "humanitarian" masterpiece.
