In order to welcome the second "China Aerospace Day", the "Dreaming Space-Sculpture in the Palm-Space Cultural Relics Exhibition" sponsored by the National Museum of China and CCTV and supported by the China Manned Space Engineering Office was unveiled in Guo Bo on April 24th.

"Dreaming Space-Sculpture of Sky in the Palm Entering Tibet and Exhibition of Space Cultural Relics" is divided into three parts, exhibiting 63 pieces (sets) of space cultural relics including sculpture of sky in the palm, and 10 pieces (sets) specially provided by China Manned Space Engineering Office to witness the precious history of manned space flight.

The first part-flying dreams. It mainly shows the brilliant achievements of China's space industry represented by "two bombs and one satellite", manned space flight and lunar exploration.

The second part-the dream of the sky. It mainly displays the sculpture "Heaven in the Palm". On an arc surface symbolizing the earth, the picture presents a nebula pattern, with the symbol of China's manned space flight in the center and1around it, namely, Yang Liwei, Fei, Nie Haisheng, Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming, Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang, Liu Yang, Zhang, Wang Yaping and Chen Dongzai at 20/kloc-. In addition, the life-saving kit used by Shenzhou 5 astronaut Yang Liwei in the spacecraft, the safety commitment letter signed by the launch team members who carried out the manned space rocket launch mission, the work permit of the former Party secretary of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology who advocated the establishment of "China Aerospace Day" to participate in China's first manned space flight, and the calculator used by Song, deputy chief designer of the Long March II F launch vehicle system, were also exhibited.

The third part-start a new journey. Through the establishment of China Aerospace Day, launch vehicle, satellite launch center, space station construction, lunar exploration, Mars exploration and space science and technology application, the planning and prospect of China's space industry in the next few years are displayed.

The exhibition will be held from April 24 to May 25, 20 17 at the National Museum North 1 Hall.
