1. Preparation materials: 2 2-inch recent bareheaded color photos. (or temporary resident ID card), books. If yes, a permanent resident registration form is required;
2. Fill in the application form: with the above materials, go to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the local public security bureau to fill in the Approval Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes, copy relevant supporting materials and take photos (dark clothes are required);
3. Submit an application. Submit the completed application form together with photos and required materials to the acceptance window. After the review, the staff will receive the receipt of the application for going abroad for personal reasons, check the contents of the receipt and sign it.
4. After submitting the application, the payment applicant must immediately apply for a receipt from the toll office with the certificate of going abroad for private reasons;
5. Collection: The applicant must collect the certificate on time according to the date of evidence collection indicated on the receipt of the application for going abroad for private reasons or the date of evidence collection notified by the exit-entry administration department. On the day of obtaining evidence, the applicant himself will show the receipt of the application for going abroad for personal reasons and the receipt of payment, and bring the resident ID card or household registration book to the entry-exit reception hall where the application is accepted to collect the documents. After receiving the certificate, please carefully check the contents of the certificate, and correct it in time if you find any mistakes;
6. Signature confirmation: Please sign my name with a black pen in the signature column of the holder on the last page of the passport before applying for the visa.
Legal basis: Article 6 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China
When applying for an ordinary passport, a citizen shall submit a resident identity card, a residence booklet, recent bareheaded photos and relevant materials of the reasons for the application. State functionaries who leave the country to apply for an ordinary passport for reasons specified in Article 5 of this Law shall also submit relevant supporting documents in accordance with relevant state regulations.
The exit-entry administrative organ of the public security organ shall issue an ordinary passport within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application materials; Do not meet the conditions, it shall explain the reasons in writing, and inform the applicant of the right to apply for administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit according to law.
In remote areas or areas with inconvenient transportation or due to special circumstances, passports cannot be issued on schedule, and the issuance time can be extended to 30 days with the approval of the person in charge of the passport issuing organ.
If a citizen requests emergency treatment due to a reasonable emergency, the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ shall handle it in time.
