According to the report, the head of the National Development and Reform Commission said that since the beginning of this year, China's natural gas consumption has maintained rapid growth. /kloc-from October to October, the national natural gas consumption was 209.7 billion cubic meters, up by 65.438+08.9% year-on-year, of which the domestic natural gas production was 65.438+ 0338 billion cubic meters, up by 65.438+year-on-year. Since the beginning of winter, due to the increasing heating demand in the northern region, some gas sources are unstable, and the pressure on resource security continues to increase. The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration, together with relevant departments, have held several special meetings to study measures to increase and ensure supply, establish a joint monitoring and dispatching mechanism, and coordinate and solve outstanding problems.

On the premise of ensuring safe production, we will speed up the construction of natural gas production capacity and the commissioning of ground supporting projects, fully tap the production capacity of gas fields, increase the supply of natural gas in northern heating areas through the exchange of resources between oil and gas enterprises in Tianjin, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong, always adhere to the people-centered development concept, and give priority to ensuring people's livelihood.
