Telnet port numbers are not bidirectional. Telnet port is used to log in other hosts through computer network. It adopts TCP/IP standard with port number 23 and can be implemented on almost all operating systems, thus connecting with computers. The client only needs to ensure that the port number is unique on this machine. The client port number is also called a temporary port number because it exists for a short time.
