Wang's personal deeds
Progressive students of Huaxi dam

65438+February 6th, 2006 is a rare sunny day in winter in Chengdu. In order to write an academic history paper "Huaxi Dam", I went to the western suburbs to interview Mr. Su Liangpei, a retired cadre of Chengdu Municipal Committee. Su Lao graduated from cheeloo university, Huaxi Dam. During the Anti-Japanese War, Jinling University, Jinling Women's College of Arts and Sciences, cheeloo university and yenching university moved to Huaxi Union University in Huaxi Dam, which was known as the "Five Big Huaxi Dams" in history. Su Lao provided me with several photos, one of which was a group photo of several students from cheeloo university at 1944. Pointing to a face, he said that his name is Wang and he is the underground party member of Huaxi Dam. Later, the Party went to Taiwan Province Province and was killed by the Kuomintang on charges of "Soviet spy".

I realized that this was an important historical fact that was little known, so I began to inquire about Wang in detail. A long time ago, the memory left in Mr. Su's heart was a little vague:

Wang, at the same level as me, also entered Qilu on 1943 and studied in the Department of Political Economy. He also has a younger brother named Wang Shengming, who was also studying at Jinling University in Huaxi Dam.

Wang works in Central Airlines while studying. He doesn't live in the Qilu student dormitory of Huaxi Dam, but in the "American Hotel for Aid to China" in Chengdu Commercial Street. He cares about his classmates and helps others. He is also in a better financial situation and has helped me. I once asked him to help my nephew with his lessons.

He is very active in Huaxi Dam, and he is the chairman of cheeloo university Student Autonomy Association. 1944 "Democracy and People's Livelihood Association" expanded. For development, I mobilized him to participate. With his political attitude, he should naturally attend. But he told me very sincerely that I had an organizational relationship and another job. As for what job, he wouldn't say, and I couldn't find out. But once, I asked him for the Voice of Britain and America, a semi-public propaganda material edited by NLD. He took me to a mansion in Shaanxi Street and told me to wait outside. After a while, he brought out a bundle of British and American sounds from it. There is the residence of Mr. Zhang He, who was the commander-in-chief of the Sichuan Army. He has been to Yan' an and is the main person in charge of NLD. So according to my intuition, he is probably engaged in the United front work of the underground party.

Gan, a retired army cadre, is in the same department as him. She remembers a puzzling past. 1946 65438+1October 10. Only one month after the political consultative conference was held, the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union simultaneously made public the Yalta Agreement signed in secret in February of1/kloc-0, which contained clauses that harmed China's interests. At that time, the Soviet Red Army was retreating from the northeast. It is said that there were incidents of dismantling industrial and mining equipment, moving machines back to China as trophies, and killing Zhang Shenfu, a mining and metallurgy expert who received Fushun coal mine, which caused dissatisfaction among some young students. Anti-Soviet demonstrations took place in some cities, shouting extreme slogans, such as "Down with red empire Doctrine" and "Get the Russians out of the three northeastern provinces". Some students in Chengdu also held anti-Soviet demonstrations. The underground party in China mobilized progressive students to dissuade and stop demonstrations through peripheral organizations such as the Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood.

According to Mr. Gan's memory, my sister Gan Kechao (then studying in the Department of Home Economics of Jinling Women's University in Huaxi Ba) and I were walking at the intersection of Shuncheng Street, and the anti-Soviet procession came face to face. I suddenly saw Wang in the crowd. I'm surprised. Presumably, he usually makes progress. How can he take part in such a parade? I have remembered this for decades. Recently, I asked my classmate Lang Xinkang, and Lang Xinkang told me that he also took part in the parade, which was a protective color. Superior instructions, to save strength.

Wang Chu was born in Beijing, 1920. 1939 After graduating from Beiping No.5 Middle School, he went south to Kunming to escape the war and was admitted to "Eurasia". "Eurasia" is an airline jointly established by the Ministry of Communications of the National Government and Lufthansa in 193 1. When World War II broke out, China and Germany broke off diplomatic relations, and China took over German shares and became a state-owned enterprise. Wang, 2 1 year old, is an "old man" in Europe and Asia. He was once a mechanic. In August, 1942, "Europe and Asia" added three radio communication zones of Chongqing, Chengdu and Lanzhou, and Wang was promoted from the original mechanic to a radio technician in Lanzhou. (Chapter XIII of Shanghai Civil Aviation, Communication and Navigation) 1943 In March, the Ministry of Communications and the Aviation Commission of the National Government established the Central Airlines on the basis of "Europe and Asia", and Wang entered Chengdu Railway Station and still worked as a radio technician.

This summer, he wore a "cheeloo university" badge on his chest.

I looked up the history of Shandong University (cheeloo university was later partially incorporated) and Huaxi University (later Wang borrowed and graduated from this school), as well as the history of Sichuan and Chengdu, but I couldn't find a word about Wang. I turned to Mr. Su Liangpei, an insider, and he told me that there was a Historical Draft of Revolutionary Struggle of Chaoming Academic Research Association, which was recorded on it. Finally found the little book compiled by a group of old comrades at their own expense. The preface of this book reads:

This "History of the Ming Society Struggle" reflects the boiling struggle life of a group of college students and young workers with revolutionary ideals under the leadership of the underground party in Chengdu, the heart of the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang, in the mid-1940s. As an internal historical manuscript, it is dedicated to the martyrs of Chaoming Society who died heroically in the struggle to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Chaoming Academic Research Association-

An important article in the book is "Mourning for Our Close Comrades Wang Sheng and Martyrs", which reads as follows:

1943, he was admitted to the Department of Economics in cheeloo university, where he worked and went to school. At the same time, he engaged in student movements and revolutionary activities. 1943, Chen Fuzi (Baoshan Chen, Chen Fuzi), an old underground party member directly led by Comrade Dong, joined the * * * Production Party, and has been helping Comrade Chen Fuzi to engage in the underground work of the Party ever since.

Chen Fuzi's achievements are contained in the chapter "Shanghai Civil Aviation" published by Shanghai Local Records Office:

In the civil aviation industry in Shanghai, during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, there were underground party member Chen Fuzi (Baoshan Chen), Jin Keng (Jin Hanming) and Qian Feng (who quit the party) in …… Eurasian Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "Eurasian Airlines") and Central Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "Central Airlines").

Wang may be party member, directly led by Chen Fuzi, and he has a one-way contact with China.

Comrade Wang was one of the earliest members and organizers of the academic research society in Ming Dynasty. ..... He played a very good influence and backbone role in the student movement of Chao Ming Society and the struggle of leading students against the Kuomintang reactionaries. ..... During my study in cheeloo university, I actively took courses directed by Chao Ming Society, such as Peng and Huang, which I couldn't put down. Often work with comrades. He and his younger brother Wang Shengming, who was studying at Jinling University at that time, both had technical knowledge of electrical appliances. Due to the fall and poverty of their hometown, they used holidays and sundays to repair electrical appliances for schools and classmates through work-study programs, and subsidized their study expenses with their meager income.

University revolution

In several revolutionary struggles in cheeloo university, such as opposing Kuomintang reactionaries to mobilize students to join the Youth Army, opposing Kuomintang Chairman Tang Jihe, striving for the leadership of student self-government, Qilu Digest incident, etc., under the leadership of the Party, comrades were at the forefront of the struggle. Because of the victory of the struggle, he also enjoyed high prestige among the students, and was elected as the chairman of the student self-government in 1945. In a famous Christian university with a history of 8 1 year, the leadership of the student self-government association was seized by the progressive forces for the first time. The progressive activities of schools led by the Party through student self-government associations are very active, progressive societies have been established one after another, and students actively participate in various revolutionary activities. Therefore, it caused panic among the reactionary forces. They organized reactionary forces and laid a fierce siege to Wang Sheng and Comrade Chen Jiaxun (Chen Qihai). They said they were "propaganda for the * * * production party" and "red empire-ists" who wanted Wang to step down. However, under the leadership of the Party, with the support of the progressive classmates of the whole school and the progressive forces of the universities in Huaxi Dam, Wang and Jin Chen fought resolutely, and the plot of the reactionary forces finally failed.

I noticed two things. First of all, Wang Sheng's fearless spirit and the spirit of bravely standing in the forefront in the article are inconsistent with the Party's work discipline in the White Area at that time. Since 1940 Chengdu "rice grabbing incident", the the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Sichuan Special Committee has been greatly damaged. In the "Instructions on the Work of the Southern Party in Chengdu's Rice Snatching Incident", the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued a message to the Southern Bureau "Concealed and capable, and accumulated strength; Long-term ambush, waiting for the opportunity "policy. Is there anything inappropriate in the article? Second, his former residence, the U.S. military guest house in the commercial street, is also a gathering place for foreign affairs personnel such as Soviet aid pilots to China (later the former site of Inspirational Society, and now it is the compound of Sichuan Provincial Committee. -the author's note), the reactionary forces said he was a "red empire". Is it out of thin air, or does he have some connection with the Soviet * * * production party?

/kloc-in the summer of 0/946, cheeloo university was demobilized and returned to Jinan, and Wang transferred to West China University to study. Because of his love for drama, he participated in the performance of Official History, the opening drama of China Art Troupe, and also participated in the performances of Thunderstorm, Sunrise and Guo Moruo's early work Xiang Lei organized by universities in Huaxi Dam. He never picked a role in the performance, and his attitude was serious, which won the praise of director Xiao Xiquan.

Gan's story also confirms Wang's love for the performing arts. 1945 In the second half of the year, Huaxi Dam performed Mr. Cao Yu's Thunderstorm. The actors are almost all students in cheeloo university. She clearly remembers Liu Jichang acting, Lang Xinkang acting, Wang acting ... She also participated in the dialogue:

Wang and I are classmates and know each other earlier. I failed in math in the middle school entrance examination. You have to take a make-up exam when you go to college. Wang helped me with this matter. Later, he wrote to me and wrote so many letters that I can't remember them clearly. But in the end, I gave it all back to him. I didn't understand at that time. My reply was that I copied some famous sentences to the effect that I should learn more skills while I was young. He was depressed about it, and then we were just ordinary classmates in the same department.

At that time, national salvation and reading, revolution and love were multi-voice chorus on the dam.

During this period, Wang met the basic actor (Pei Zhejing) of Chengdu Cultural and Art Troupe, and later they got married.

After he graduated from college, Mrs. Kay went to Wuhan and Shanghai in August 1947. In order to meet the needs of the party's work, he joined the Civil Aviation Administration of the Kuomintang and served as the director of the radio station. On the eve of liberation, he went to work in Taiwan Province Province. Although the task was arduous and the environment was sinister, he did not waver and resolutely took his wife, Comrade Pei Jun ("mourning for our close comrade-in-arms Wang Sheng martyr") to Taiwan.

It is said that the victory of China Revolution is a touch of red neon lights on the eastern horizon. But just before dawn, they ventured across the sea and sneaked into Taiwan Province Province, shouldering an important mission.

Taiwan Province Province is dead in prison.

When the Kuomintang fled to Taiwan Province Province in panic, it closely monitored and suppressed the progressive forces. Wang and his wife were quickly arrested. When he was in trouble, he was as calm as death, nodded to his wife frequently and died bravely together.

Later, Comrade Chen Fuzi reported to the Party and organizationally ratified him as a martyr. (Historical Draft of Revolutionary Struggle of Chaoming Academic Research Association, 1987, Beijing)

This narrative is too brief. The narrative about the execution of Wang Sheng and his wife is probably based on the plot of a novel or a movie. At that time, the terrain in Taipei was horrible. Who could have been there?

At the beginning of 1990, some files in Taiwan Province Province began to be lifted, and the truth of this matter gradually surfaced. Books published by intelligence agencies, Compilation of Robbery Cases Handled by Taiwan Province Provincial Authorities over the Years approved by Li Ao, and White Terror Testimony in the 1950s compiled by Huan Wang all record the case and historical background of "Taiwan Province spy Wang Sheng and Li Peng rebelled against foreign enemies". Among them, Shen Huaiyu is the author of Soviet Spy Case (Taiwan History Dictionary and Soviet Spy Case); Taiwan Province Province's "Collection of Robbery Cases by Secret Documents of the Security Bureau over the Years" (II 199 1) writes: The Soviet spy king, a native of Beiping, graduated from cheeloo university, was originally an airline radio operator, and was later absorbed by the Soviet National Political Security Department (GPU). 1949 February, he and his wife (28 years old, 1949 May, the intelligence unit detected Wang's communication with the Soviet Union. 1950 In March, after arresting Mr. and Mrs. Wang in Xiamen Street, they were arrested according to their confessions. Therefore, Huang Jue, Huang Zheng's sister and others were involved in this case. On August 2,, Wang,, and were sentenced to death. Pan, Liao,,, were sentenced to 10 years; Five people, including Hao Ganzeng, were sentenced to 7 years and 2 years in prison respectively; Li and Zhuang Hanjiang convey a sense of training.

After being arrested

The arrest of Mr. and Mrs. Wang was recorded in detail in Wei Daming's memoir Invisible War written at the end of last century. Wei, Dai Li's red man, is the leader of the Telecommunications Information Department and played a role in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's intelligence war. 1in July, 949, Wei Daming was appointed as the director of the Technical Laboratory of the Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan Province Province and a member of the Political Action Committee of Jiang Jingguo. He wrote in the book:

1950 In February, the intelligence department of Taiwan Province Province under its jurisdiction seized a secret radio station with strong radio waves near Lane 9 of Xiamen Street in Taipei from the Telecommunications Supervision Office. So he ordered ambush monitoring day and night, and finally locked two or three Japanese-style houses at the intersection of telecom direction finding. On the pretext of power failure, household registration, water and electricity emergency repair and air defense exercises, they went to the room to check and found nothing. Finally, Wei Daming personally went out and searched one of them. They searched the ceiling, walls and floors, but found nothing suspicious. Just as they were about to walk out of the gate, Wei Daming looked back and suddenly found that the feet of a small round table in the small living room were particularly thick and out of proportion to ordinary furniture. Immediately ordered to open, there is a set of powerful transceiver.

This is Wang's home. It turned out that Wang was directly appointed by the Third International in Vladivostok, the Soviet Union (according to Wei Daming's original text, but the Third International was dissolved in 1943, and it is suspected that its successor organization-the Production Party Intelligence Bureau).

1949, Wang was ordered to go to Hong Kong to meet him first, and then sneaked into Taiwan Province Province on the pretext that the Civil Aviation Administration personnel were evacuated from Taiwan Province. He also established a secret radio station, which reported directly to Vladivostok and Chita, and even had no connection with China. At that time, the Third International was similar to the General Command of the World Production Party, collecting information from all sides and supplying it directly to the Moscow center. Stalin was deeply suspicious of American military power in the Far East, and worried about a direct conflict with the United States and a war, so any information about Taiwan Province Province was extremely valuable. The radio station was cracked, immediately cutting off the only information source of the Third International and Taiwan Province Province.

At that time, the Taiwan Province Provincial Security Command was overjoyed and planned to disclose the case immediately to show off its achievements. Wei Daming hurriedly stopped it, with a straight face. He arranged to keep in touch with Vladivostok and seized the opportunity to try his best to instill the illusion that American troops were already in Taiwan Province. This exchange lasted for six months, and it was difficult to distinguish between true and false, which made the Soviet Union suspicious ... (Huang Weifeng: "Review of Military History-How Taiwan Province Province Passed through 1950 Crisis")

Intelligence personnel have lived in the shadows all their lives. It is naturally difficult to judge the truth from the contents of Wei Daming's book, so we have to cut the crap and let it be.
