The Central Academy of Fine Arts, formerly known as the National Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, was founded by Mr. Cai Yuanpei. It is the first national art education institution in the history of China and the beginning of modern art education in China. Central America gave birth to the earliest art education system in China, initiated the earliest university disciplines such as calligraphy, modeling, design, architecture and humanities in China, and was the founder of China's art higher education in modern times.
