Shaxian snacks went out of Shaxian on a large scale and "attacked the city and pulled out the village" all over the country. That was after the 1990s. Not long, not short. Why are they going out? Isn't it good to make snacks locally? There are two main reasons.
First of all, Shaxian is located in the middle of Fujian, with mountainous terrain and little cultivated land. "Shaxian Annals" compiled by Emperor Shizong of Ming Dynasty during Jiajing wrote: "The sand areas are all mountains"; "The city lives in the middle of Chung Shan Man, where mountains and streams meet, and the open sea is thin and resistant, with steep peaks and dense vegetation." Woodland accounts for 80% of the total area, and cultivated land is only about 9%. On the one hand, there is little arable land, on the other hand, the population is increasing rapidly. In 1950s and 1960s, under the slogan of "Many people make light", China experienced a population explosion, and so did Shaxian. From 1953 to 1960, the total population of the county increased by 29,600; From 1963 to 1975, it increased by 72300. By the 1990s, they had grown up, but there was no spare farmland and jobs. How to resettle these rural surplus laborers? Is a thorny issue.
Then there is a practical reason. In the late 1980s, Shaxian County was engaged in the transformation of the old city. Many people want to build new houses, but they lack funds. At that time, the banking industry was underdeveloped and financing was difficult. In order to alleviate this problem, an organization called "bidding meeting" began to become popular among the people. People can get higher interest than banks by investing money in the bidding meeting, and the successful bidder can raise funds quickly to solve the temporary emergency, which is the nature of usury. Ordinary people look at it, and investing money will have a fairly high return. Why not? Like a white wolf with empty gloves. So they're involved.
How hot will the bidding be? At that time, more than 60% families in Shaxian participated in the bidding meeting, and the rural area was even more miserable, reaching 85%. People are crazy to get rich. Unfortunately, in June of 1992, due to poor management, such as gambling, the bidding fund chain was broken. What shall we do? We have no money at hand, so what can we give back to others? So many people chose to stand for election, and the so-called "Eighth National Congress" fled. After they went to other places, they set up a stall in a simple place to make a living and started snacks. This is the first step for Shaxian snacks to go out.
