Intermittent training method refers to the training method that puts forward strict requirements on action structure, load intensity and interval time, so that the body is in an incomplete recovery state and exercises repeatedly.
In 1950s, German cardiologist Raindl and teacher Bischler put forward the theory of interval training. They think that after the interval, the heart rate reaches 170- 180 beats/min, and then training until the heart rate reaches 100- 125 beats/min, which is beneficial to enhance the heart pumping function. Therefore, interval training method is also called Gerschler-Reynders law. The advantage of this training method is that it can keep the heart rate in the best range and improve the heart pumping function during training and interval. The application was expanded in the early 1990s, and the effect was remarkable.
